Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside the warmth of the large shop, Greta was surprised to see a bright modern shop, which included not only a metaphysical section, but my children’s section, too. With soft upbeat music playing in the background, it didn’t take long to find the shopkeeper chatting away to a rather wild looking dog by a fireplace.

It was utterly breathtaking. After sitting and watching the view for a few moments, I decided to explore the books. My finger ran lazily along the moulded wooden shelves, reading the titles of the books to see if I recognized any. Many were antiques, some Italian and some English. There was a small section on cooking, a larger section on gardening and an even larger section on romance novels. I even found the karma sutra amongst what I can only classify as the ‘self help’ section, opening it and then quickly closing it in case Enzo or his mother entered the room.

I walked away from the dress shop, I stopped to look at my map and make sure I was heading in the right direction. I walked in the direction the map was suggesting. When I arrived, I saw a cute older lady inside with a dusting brush. The bookstore seems quaint and antique. I was looking for a vintage book that I heard Hunter used to love as kid. The book is very old, it was published in 1821 so perhaps his grandmother used to read it to him? I only heard him mention it to my mother. Father’s Day is soon, and I want to get him a gift. It is called “The Two Doves and The Owl.”
