Book Review Start With Why Novels & Stories

Hearing the buzzing sound, I opened the door and entered and was graciously blessed with seeing the beauty of a young woman who I assumed to be the cashier. Walking up to the counter I just stood there and stared at her, taking in every single feature of her beautiful oval-shaped face. Staring into her hazel eyes I was just starting to get lost in them when I heard her ask me how she could be of assistance, taking me out of my trance. Her voice had matched her face––beautiful and angelic. “Do you have the book titled Start with Why?” I asked her, “it's a business book,” I added after I saw the puzzled look she wore on her face.

Billy was clearly in too much of a hurry. He blurted out, "It's a coincidence! Pure coincidence! Here—I'm not gonna take advantage of you for nothing. Take this book and study it. It'll give you a solid foundation in soul-related knowledge." With that, Billy tossed a worn, coverless book onto the table and bolted like a madman, as if the Phaeron Codex might vanish if he did not get there in time. Felix still had his doubts, but his curiosity shifted toward the book. He sat down, opened it, and began reading.

“Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ” He shrugged, flipping another page. “I keep telling you not to judge me with your assumptions.” “I'm sorry if my assumptions don't fit your personality,” I said, taking the seat across from him. “Why this book?” I asked, stealing the opportunity to know what the real Kael is like. “I like books that… make me think. And this one does.” “Think about what?” I asked, hoping my curiosity wasn't obvious. “Is this some sort of interview?” he asked, placing the book on the table without closing it.
