“You offered her a job?” My dad asked, stunned just as I ended the call with Emily. He had come out of nowhere like an apparition almost scaring me. I was standing in the hall talking to Emily who was explaining to me why she had snapped at me earlier and was apologizing for her behavior.
“Yes, dad I did. Is that a problem?”
“Adam honestly yes, it is. The way you describe this girl, she seems very nice as I said before and I don't want someone who will distract you from work in the same building as you or worse cause problems because you can’t keep it in your pants and settle down.
