I looked through dates, sigils of different packs paying allegiance, trade routes, patrol stations, pack census…all of which weren’t interesting to me in the slightest. “Where could you be hiding them?” I mumble to myself. I have to find something. “I have to save you, Tess. I dragged you into this.” I pause, looking around in search of another place to search. My eyes fall on a shelf lining the far wall. Why is it far from the other? I wonder as I walk towards it. I slide the shelf open and my eyes immediately fall on the thick, heavy book, bound in black and red leather. My fingers slide over the spine before I pull it out.

"What is it?" Eden suddenly got up from her seat, then walked towards the brown cardboard that Eden had arranged in the corner of the room. There was something Eden found today, and she just remembered that she intended to ask Aciel after the man came home from work. "I found this." Eden pointed at a large book with a plain dark brown cover that looked a little dusty in some places. At first glance, Aciel was confused by the book that Eden had found, but then he remembered it and asked Eden to bring the book to him.
