I sat on small wooden stool that was present inside, since Draco was not back yet , I decided to go though my bag, I pulled out all four books that was written by my grandmother on Dark Creatures, Spells, poison and lastly DRAGONS, each of this book included all detail information on spell, method, about ghost, warewolf, sorceress , way to tackle them and many more things, tree books included every detail on other supernatural things while one entire book was dedicated to Dragon. Lauren Beukes. All horror, violence, and morbid. Certainly not what Jade preferred to read. The magazines held a different texture, they were smooth but thinner, and her fingertip snagged every crevice. She plucked a random one out and examined the cover. Vogue. Flipping through the magazine, she noted several of the corners were folded as a bookmark. She glanced over the articles on those pages: Interviews with influential people, food and drink reviews, and beauty products.

The air is still and quiet, filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered. I select another volume and add it to my ever-growing pile. The worn leather spines creak as I pile another stack of books into my arms. Their dusty pages call to me, begging to be opened and explored. I hoisted the stack of books higher in my arms, struggling to keep them balanced. There must have been at least two dozen volumes weighing down my arms, ranging from gothic horror to historical romances, all consists of something dark.

Damon joked "And a pointy hat" I laughed "That too, yes" Damon nodded I flew to the library the following day to return 'kidnapped' I decided I wanted another book, this time I chose a different author and a different genre, I chose horror, which wasnt far from thriller, like the first book, but horror was my favourite, I loved how ghosts were scary, and there were demons, and scary witches that cursed you, it made me laugh, for some reason this had always made me laugh, even before I knew I was a witch, now I knew why.

Surprisingly, I don't find the idea disturbing. Feeling boredom as it sets in quickly, I make my way over to the bookshelf. I start to peruse the titles and am shocked at what I find. I see the House of Night Series, The Twilight Series, Forbidden Knowledge, Harry Potter Trilogy, and various books on Military Protocols all with black covers. The books are all in good condition too. Not interested in any of the military books I reach for the first book in the House of Night Series. As I take the book over to the couch to settle in, the door swings open.

I Said, Leaving Once in the library, I went to get a book on behavioral psychology and started reading it on the spot. An hour later, as I was lost in my thoughts, I started thinking about Nate again. About his hand gripping my arm and him pleading with me not to say anything... I have no idea. The books were old, some pages are rotten and smell like mushrooms in a wet forest. I smiled when I realized that these books were precious. And they were all about my kind, the Helsings. For hours, all I did was read and get drowned in these pile of books. I have never been flooded with knowledge unlike before. The more I got absorbed into the pages, the more this hatred towards the corrupted vampires grew. It was eye-opening. Written on the page was,

Just banshees, shadow beasts, some hybrid ghouls, and this weird chapter about moon-cursed wolves." I raised an eyebrow. "Sounds delightful."

Rhory looks at me, clearly trying to show no fear. "Witches? Magic? Curses..." I mumbles to myself, thinking of all that is being revealed. "I never really thought about things other than what's in my books. There isn't much information on witches in the library, but there are a few books on Vampires. I have a bit of an interest in the other races..." "The books in the library are probably pretty basic." Rhory chews on his lower lip. "I could see if I can find you something with more detail, BUT you have to PROMISE not to let anyone see it or know you have it."

Feeling amazed that the Alpha will read something like this, especially knowing that most wolves hate vampires for its history. As Brianna began to slowly crouch and check more, finding other books that are similar to Twilight, like vampire club, vampire moon, and other things, suddenly Brianna felt a sudden wind behind her. ‘A wind?’ she muttered, automatically turning around to find no source as the room had no window.
