he smiles. After we talked some more I finished eating my pizza and deliciously delicious cheese sticks and head out to the back porch. I sit down on the deck and begin reading the book I have to read for my honors English class. We have to read Romeo and Juliet, yep that book you just keep hearing about no matter what. I peacefully read the book for about a half hour when I hear a rustle in the bushes beside me. I look towards the source... nothing. Maybe just a bunny or something.

From the way Mr Miles is just carrying on with class, I am guessing that the principle has let our teachers for the day know about what has happened. He picks up the book we’re all studying for English. Romeo and Juliet and assigns a few people to be the characters and to read from it. Mr Miles doesn’t choose Lilly nor I, which he ordinarily would. I thank God for that. The last thing I feel like doing right now is playing some fictional part of a book. Not when real, horrid, scary life is happening around me.

But I hope Physics lab was interesting and they both were partners and had fun. After the hour, I make a quick trip to the library. I had to grab a book for the English literature assignment. Its due date is tomorrow and it's a quite lengthy assignment- a critical analysis of one of Shakespeare's tragedy plays. For that, I had to first grab a tragedy play from the library. I reach the library and go to the Drama section. Shall I take Romeo and Juliet? Because it's common and everyone knows its story. So I start searching for Romeo and Juliet. But I don't find it even after searching the whole shelf. So I walk to the librarian.

She chuckled and walked to the shelf, she trailed her fingers on the books looking for one with a title she might like. She saw Romeo and Juliet by Williams Shakespeare, it's an old book but she's kind of a romantic. Scarlett smirked and brought it out from its position. "Cool" She smiled, staring at the red book cover. She walked to Xavier's seat and sat down on it. She flipped the pages of the book and began reading. It looked interesting but Shakespearean English was getting her tired and bored. "Thou hast…" She yawned and her eyes slowly closed. The door suddenly slammed shut and it jerked out of the nightmare she was facing.

I asked while smiling politely at the boy. "Erm, I'm looking for some Shakespearean novels. Preferably the Merchant of Venice, Othello and Romeo and Juliet," he said as he blushed. He looked so cute while being red-faced. "Come this way", I gestured for him to follow me as I led him to the Shakespeare section. "Here", I pointed at the collection of books "You can find anything you want in this section. I'll be waiting where you met me. If you need anything, just come find me there and I'll answer your questions or guide you on anything you need," I said as I left him to continue looking through the books.

The two families involved are Mafia families so some of the script is written in Italian with the English translation in brackets. I'm glad, physics was never really my best subject not that I don't pass, it's just fustrating and excruciating and soul draining. Scanning through the shelves of books for something interesting to read, I spotted William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. I hate the book but I've read the others many times and I've also never read it.

He came back a minute later with two textbooks. “So,” he said, settling down next to me, leaving a careful, deliberate amount of space between us, “should we get started?” I nodded, trying to ignore the flutter of nerves in my stomach. We opened our textbooks, and the weight of Romeo and Juliet rested on my lap like a sentence. For the first hour, we grudgingly tackled the Shakespeare assignment. I had braced myself for a complete disaster, but to my surprise, Jude actually seemed… knowledgeable. He dissected the play, analyzing the characters and themes with an insight I hadn't expected. It was annoying, really.
