Maddy's POV “For our end of the year drama, we really have two options. Odyssey or Romeo and Juliet,” Mr. Bart, the drama club teacher, said. I’d done Romeo and Juliet a million times in NYC; I would have loved something a little more challenging. “I guess we are gonna have to put it to a vote,” he said, looking around the room. “Personally, I think you could never go wrong with the classic love story of Romeo and Juliet,” I heard that aggravating voice behind me.

“What kind of books?” “Mostly biographies.” “That sounds exactly like you.” Julian stood up from the chair as well. “And you only read romance?” “Not only,” I said defensively. “Just… mostly.” “Why?” I shrugged. “Because they’re easy to get lost in.” Julian studied my face like he was trying to understand something deeper behind that answer. “Real life isn’t like those stories,” he said. “I know that.” “Then why read them?” “Because sometimes it’s nice to believe people actually figure things out.”

Further proof that yesterday’s hysterics really happened. I enter my English Literature class and take my seat. The teacher calls attendance and requests us to take out our study materials and the current book in class which is Shakespeare’s Hamlet. I absolutely love Shakespeare. Last month we read Romeo and Juliet, my favorite book. I asked that we perform the play, however, the teacher said that is up to the theater director, and he does not make those decisions. I was sad but, I have not lost hope. I would love to play Juliet. I look around the room getting myself comfortable and erasing the feelings of anxiety from my mind.

What I mean is, all the maid will immediately go into panic mode. So what I do when Little Maria goes to school is to read, luckily there's a large shelve of book in the room I stay but well at the rate I am reading I am sure I would be needing more books soon. So far, I have read almost all books by My favorite Author, Franchine Rivers, I have also been reading books by Shakespeare like Romeo and Juliet and so on. Did I ever tell you that I also wish to be a best selling Writer too? I guess I haven't but I indeed want to be a best selling Writer and a Famous Singer too someday.
