Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Wow.. this was an amazing story! One of my top 10 favorites on here. Unbelievably well written & flowed nicely. Kept me on my toes & wanting more. I appreciated that there were multiple POVs. Happy with how it all ended! Fantastic job author - 110% recommend reading this!

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

ALPHA GOD

ALPHA GOD

Although he can't leave here, like me, who knows what he gets up to in his spare time. "Not quite," he says, holding up the book so the cover faces me. On it, is the name Shinee in bright golden letters surrounded by dark tinted italic pattern swirling around like magic. It looks similar in configuration to mind. "It's a book, on your mate." I echo my thoughts, curious about getting my hands on it. "So, basically the same premise of mine? Isn't this like some kind privacy breach?" Damon shrugs his shoulders. As if he cares.

Taboo pleasures (Sweet sin)

Taboo pleasures (Sweet sin)

I kept walking toward the back wall then I saw something strange. A soft golden glow appeared between two massive bookshelves I walked past a thousand times. It was a hidden section. The books here looked ancient, their leather spines shimmering faintly. Titles like The Touch of Shadows, Bound by Moonlight, and Whispers After Dark seemed to pulse with their own light. My fingers trembled as I reached out and pulled one book from the shelf. It felt warm, almost alive. I was so curious to see so I opened it slowly.

Every Shade Of Desire (short story collection)

Every Shade Of Desire (short story collection)

I should— But she didn’t want to. Not even a little. He unlocked the door and let her in first. The place smelled like old paper and wood and something that felt like *him*. She stepped inside slowly, running her fingers along the spines of books as she moved through the shelves. Mismatched heights. Handwritten notes pinned everywhere. It was messy and alive in a way her carefully designed spaces never were. She could feel him watching her from near the door. His eyes on her back. On her legs in that blue dress. It made her skin prickle. Made her nipples tighten again. Made the ache between her legs throb worse.

From Shadow to the Longest Sun

From Shadow to the Longest Sun

Smirk sharp as shattered crystal. “Didn’t I give you one just as grand last week? What’s there to envy?” His fingers tightened on her waist, backing her against the wrought-iron pergola draped in jasmine. “Play your part. Don’t slip around Lena. Everything she has? You’ll have it too.” Now I remember. Five nights ago, crimson meteors streaked across New York’s southern skyline, a blood-magic spectacle. He’d texted: “Clan emergency. Working late.”

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

ZANE’S POV The rink was my sanctuary, the only place where the world’s noise dulled to a low hum. My skates carved the ice, each stride a desperate bid to outrun the chaos in my head. The Blizzard’s practice facility echoed with the sharp crack of pucks and the shouts of teammates, but I barely heard them. My mind was a storm—Lila Harper’s hazel eyes, her defiant mouth, the way she’d shuddered under me last night.

Shadowbound Flame

Shadowbound Flame

Malick’s POV He didn’t follow the crowd when the bell rang. Didn’t grab his bag. Didn’t care that his shirt clung to him with sweat from the match. Malick walked the opposite direction—down a side corridor and straight into the bones of the Academy, where light thinned and whispers echoed too long. Something inside him had snapped. Maybe it was the shadows. Maybe it was her voice—half-forgotten, half-sung—in Old Shadowborne. Or maybe it was the way their darknesses had tangled like they knew each other. Like they’d danced together in another life.
