The Perfect Enemy

The Perfect Enemy

Victor began fuming as he walked over to the small bar and took a strong drink. "I can't believe I had ideas about being loyal to this girl, seriously making her mine." When it all came down to the bare bones of reality, he said. "I've been sleeping with the enemy. And like always, you can't trust women and must be alone." A hot tear streamed down his face. He became furious the more he thought about it. His wealth, trust, and love were all taken from him. The throbbing in his head grew and grew! Victor resigned himself to finish her off! The rage took hold of his mind, and all these thoughts centered around a new master plan.

I like to give these books fair reviews. This is my first time reading a book on Good Novel that offered a different storyline. I like that it's about marriage but not the way all the books I read portray it. Well done! And recommend ... the others read it!

I’m a reader who doesn’t need to be constantly stimulated. I look for books that tell a good and intriguing story. I feel that will be the readers that will thoroughly enjoy this well written piece of work. Great job author.

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

“Oh, and the villain was a complete idiot!” he said heatedly. “The villain finds Claire, who she thinks is the main character Feyre, and tortures and kills her. Makes sense. But then when the real Feyre arrives, the villain suddenly decides to give her a chance! It was like in those old James Bond movies where the villain has already won, but decides to give a long monologue that allows Bond to escape. It made no sense. Why did she give her a bunch of trials? Why didn’t she just kill her the way she did to Claire? It was like she wanted Feyre to succeed. There were several times where I was yelling at my Kindle. I’m surprised you didn’t hear me.”

Surrounded by Wolves

Surrounded by Wolves

A villain, really. The word ‘villain’ had me jolting in surprising. I was gradually accepting my fate that I entered a book world but did I become a book villain? A villain would either die at the end of the story or be cast out of the pack in humiliation, neither of which appealed to me. Wait, no way! Was I heading down a path to death again!? No, I got a new life and thought I would live a long and fulfilling life and then die of old age! If truly Selene was the villain, then I had to find a way to change her/my fate.

THE EVIL OF THE GOOD GUYS

THE EVIL OF THE GOOD GUYS

(Days ago...) A day after Larry's party, Mark, the man who worked for Leonel, had an order, and he was sure it would be easy to execute. However, there was always a great risk of everything going wrong. Leonel Vos' closest and most trusted team had worked closely with Gael Cliff's men as if every one of them had been on the payroll of the same company. But those who were truly loyal to the businessman and former intelligence officer had a life incentive: to put an end to the mafias and powers led by the Cliffs, especially the son, Gael. They turned out to be few police officers in Vos' favor, those that even he trained (in the beginning) for the benefit of his enemy.

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

"We let them finish. We let the energy peak. And when the seal opens, we are the ones standing in front of it." Austin's grip on my hand tightened until I felt the bones in my fingers grind together. His jaw worked silently, the muscle jumping beneath the skin, and I knew he was calculating the odds of survival against an entity that had maintained the boundary between story and reality before the Council decided to break it. "That is suicide," he said. "That is my fate," I replied. "The villainess dies protecting the university that rejected her. The heroine weeps at her grave and inherits her power. I read this ending a hundred times before I lived it."

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

A world their parents had fought to change and barely cracked. But they were alive. And that was something. Small victories, I think, watching the sunrise over London. Sometimes small victories are all you get. And sometimes, they're enough. Volume One: The Mysteries of London. Complete. The fall had been survived. The underworld navigated. Villainy ascended and faced. The fallen world endured. Revelations survived. The reckoning reached. Individual virtue had not defeated systemic evil. But it had won space for the next generation to try.

The Villain's Last Wish

The Villain's Last Wish

I was truly living the life of a side character, being treated that way by my own brothers. I picked up the pesticide bottle, twisted it open, and poured it straight into my mouth. "What are you doing?!" Charlie screamed in terror, his face turning deathly pale. Even the usually composed Lucas panicked at that moment. "Are you insane? Did you really drink it?" My consciousness grew increasingly hazy, and I thought, 'What's so insane about it?' The original character in that world, Maddison Sherman, was just a villainous side character doomed to die sooner or later anyway. I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.
