The Alpha’s reckoning

The Alpha’s reckoning

Things have been hectic with my dad, searching for new helpers or doctors, and dealing with pack duties without showing any weakness, with no one to turn to. I’m an alpha ruling a pack of two hundred plus wolves, but I’m as good as a lone wolf. I can't help but imagine the sarcastic retort Lisa would’ve had in a situation like this. Sometimes I sense her close or feel her presence somewhere around me, but it's because almost everything reminds me of her. From the day she left, not a day has passed without me thinking of her. Not to mention the guilt and regret that have been eating away at my soul for what I did to her; I was a jackass, and I shouldn’t have treated her the way I did.

THE ALPHA'S REGRET

THE ALPHA'S REGRET

And in trying to wound me, I doubted she even realized how deeply she had hurt that innocent little girl too as I still remember that day—Hailey’s small, sad frame as she said: "He is dead. I never got to meet him.” That poor soul. Didn't Emma think about what would happen if Hailey ever found out the truth? Would she still feel justified, knowing her daughter might grow to hate her for it? Was her revenge against me really that deep? "Supreme Alpha!" Aiden's voice cut through the mind-link, jolting me back to the present, and that was when I realized that I was still in a meeting with the human representatives.

The Alpha's Fate

The Alpha's Fate

She and my own mother were similar in a lot of ways—always acting as the calm within the storm, and it was evident that her legacy still greatly impacted the pack today. "I'm sorry about your loss," I stated, feeling that it was more than an appropriate answer. "I can't imagine what it was like losing her and then—" I stopped myself. It wasn't even my grief, but I understood fully. The loss of a Luna was hard. The loss of an Alpha though, no matter his stance on life, not long after was even worse.

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

I could actually hear the venom in Alpha's tone. "I know Alpha. I wasn't thinking." "You're officially the worst beta ever," Alpha sighed. His voice sounded normal again. Was this guy schizophrenic? "You know that twelve thousand four hundred and four is not the number of women I've bed, but the number of lives I've taken?" he asked Carson. But Alpha's tone this time was laced with darkness— and possibly regret. My breath hitched. If he found me, I would be number twelve thousand four hundred and five. Goodbye, Hazel Valentine, I sobbed internally. Fear ate at my soul and my blood ran cold.

One of the best books. I love this writer. I have read 2 of her books so far and I can’t wait for this one and the rejected omega is the lycan Kings mate to be completed. Fiona’s writing skills are on point and she always adds humor to her books. I hope you get some motivation to complete this one.

HELLO AGAIN! I know it has been ages but the book has finally been edited and I have a few new chapters that I’ll be posting in the coming New Year. Some chapters have been split in 2 or 3 due to GoodNovel’s new policy. But if you’ve read the book to the chapter called Alfonso, then you’re good.

Alpha Isaac

Alpha Isaac

he curses lowly. “No, you-” Isaac shakes his head, cutting off my protests. He looks self-disgusted. “I am. Otherwise, I would have questioned why that fucking bitch was still alive.” I stare at him. This… I never thought about this either and then like an epiphany, the reason struck me. “If she was killed then so would be the cursed alpha’s wolf.” He nods grimly without looking at me. “When she stabbed you… I thought… I was desperate to kill her.” The remorse is as palpable in his voice as in his heart. I lay my head on his shoulder.

The system did not soften the answer. [CAUSE: TARGET EXECUTED] Silence stretched. Alpha stared at his hands. They were shaking now, though he hadn’t told them to. “She died,” he said. [CONFIRMED] He swallowed. “And the reason my soul feels…” He searched for the word. “Lighter.” Another pause. [LOSS 004: BLOODLINE CONTINUITY — ERASED] The world tilted. Alpha stood abruptly, vision blurring. “No,” he said flatly. “Clarify.”

After I Died, I Became The Alpha's Greatest Regret

After I Died, I Became The Alpha's Greatest Regret

Her expression didn't soften. "I've heard‚" she said. Something about her tone made my stomach tighten. "The whole region has heard‚ actually." She took a calm sip of her wine‚ watching me over the rim of the glass. "The Alpha who imprisoned his wife. Drained her blood for years. Drove her to death." She lowered the glass. "Then spent the aftermath crying about it." The words landed like fists. I felt my jaw clench so hard my teeth ached. Around us‚ the gallery had gone quiet. I could feel eyes turning in our direction. Murmurs spreading outward like ripples in water.

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Alpha's Regret After I Died

But not hard enough. I took another. And another. Praying the burn would be enough to numb the pain just for a second. Long enough to forget her face in that ballroom. Long enough to forget the silence when I realised she wasn’t coming home. Long enough to forget the crushing weight pressing on my chest every time I breathed in, and she wasn’t beside me anymore. My dead mate. My failure as an Alpha. My best friend and Beta betraying me. It all spun in circles, grief mixing with rage, heartbreak bleeding into something darker. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to burn it all down.

The author is definitely talented and the story is really interesting and intense. Definitely a page turner and unique plot. That being said, I just would like to not have to pay for full chapters where the internal monologue keeps repeating itself. It was frustrating and made me skip some chapters.

I starten reading yesterday i'm at chapter 16 now. But just like Presh_ shuga.7 says : i would also like it if it would updated often, and also not over streched. There are 4 books you're writting now that are still ongoing. I've seen ongoing books streched out 400-1200 chapters !!!

Alpha's Remorse After Her Death

Alpha's Remorse After Her Death

Beta responded, speaking carefully, “isn’t Amber Wood dead? She has a plot in your private cemetery.” “There have been some changes in circumstance, Beta. Amber isn’t dead. I ran into her today.” I watched Beta’s face, knowing that what I was telling him shouldn’t be possible, but needing him to pretend it was nothing. I didn’t possess the ability to explore what her return meant to me yet, so all I could do was collect information on her. He took my words in stride, as though dead wives turned up alive everyday. “I’ll get to work immediately, Alpha,” Beta said, giving me a polite nod and heading off.

Mated To The Scarred Alpha

Mated To The Scarred Alpha

The smell of burnt wood still clings to my skin, the scent of death hanging in the air no matter how hard I try to block it out. He’s right. The thought keeps coming back, cutting deeper every time. He’s right about everything. I didn’t ask about his mate. I didn’t even think to. All I could see was Leah, her face, her scent.. Everything else blurred out. But that’s not what an Alpha does. A true Alpha doesn’t crumble. I close my eyes and exhale slowly. The quiet is unbearable. Outside, I can hear distant voices, my people are mourning, and rebuilding, trying to make sense of what’s left. They deserve better than this version of me.
