Books With Uncle Remus Mga Nobela at Kwento

There's a drawing on it. "Wow..." I murmur, my small, dainty fingers tracing the illustration of what looks like a cave door. On the page next to it, a bunch of text is written. I can't read any of it. All the pups my age can read. My eyes skim across the ink, tracing the letters and their shapes. I remember that Uncle Gideon has another book, I see it often when he teaches other pups how to read. Walking away from the desk, I look for that book. I find it high on the shelf, so I push the sofa chair until it's positioned right. Then I climb onto the seat and the backrest. I reach for the book, grabbing the spine of it. Once I'm down, I go back to the desk. I don't know how much time has pass

"You can't just hook up with a guy. All men are like wolves. They'll use you slyly." Was he talking about my closeness with Theo? But Theo wasn't that kind of person, and I knew him very well. My eyes searched to digest his words. "Does... that also include Uncle?" Uncle Matthew was silent for a moment. His blue eyes still looked deeply at me until he finally nodded slowly while saying, "Yes." I swallowed my saliva. My eyes trembled. If that's the case, it means Uncle Matthew is also like a wolf who will take advantage of me cunningly.

It mocked me before faded out of my sight. Is that mean the book is real? But who wrote that book and how he was related to Heil? If I find the person I can get my answer but where is he now? Does he alive? Ahh! Too many questions need to answer... But I can't simply digest everything as the book feed. I don't even know the title of this book. Uncle Hayle said it was a dangerous animal and he is the man of his words who think thrice before he spoke.

Now, even though her uncle had been married to Karina for two years, the arrangement had hardly changed. Akiko still saw various ancient Japanese paintings, red oni masks, and katanas hanging on the walls. Her uncle had a classic taste. He was a pure Japanese man who cherished his ancestral culture. "Here. I hope this makes you feel better." Karina returned, placing a glass of warm milk in front of her. Akiko nodded and drank. The warm milk comforted her, and she soon felt sleepy. Akiko was surprised at how tired she was, and that a little comfort from the milk could make her drowsy.

I wandered through the aisles, running my fingers along the spines, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't felt in a long time. I spent the whole day there, completely lost among the books, reading story after story until I lost track of time. One book caught my attention "The Adventures of Sir Flufftail" a ridiculous but absolutely hilarious story about a brave and very dramatic rabbit knight who went on quests to save stolen carrot cakes from mischievous squirrels.

Maybe… just too intimidated by Rome’s presence, that’s all. "Wait..." Rome called before I left the place. "Blood stains are still in your hands." "Oh..." I mumbled, looking at the dried blood on my hands. I’m too preoccupied to notice. "Alora," Uncle Remus said, as if he was waiting for me. "Thank you for saving my daughter." He gave me a slight nod. He is like my Dad. A father figure but slightly intimidating like his son, Rome. I just gave him a respectful nod, and pressed my lips into a thin line, feeling a bit awkward because I haven’t talked to him for ages. Not as close as my relationship with Auntie Estella.

"And he commented that our book was boring because there was no images in it." Her mouth rounded into o shape, finally realizing everything. "That's why he looked at my books with fear." "I think he fears that you will ask him to read those books together." Ruby laughed, shaking her head in disbelief. She seemed not to expect this kind of reaction as well. "There are Legos, Uncle." Austin voice was heard, drawing our attention to him again. Now, he pointed a corner where they displayed several sets of Legos. "I can't have it, right, Uncle?" He sounded like affirming himself rather than asking. He got a new set from Mom a week ago, and there is no rule we buy one each other.

The books cover seemed to have been made from wood and at the top of the cover was crafted an insignia that Edward knew too well. It was their houses symbol. Edward opened the book and different insects ran out of the open pages and unto his hands. He dropped the book on his saddle and tried sweeping the insects off his body while his uncle laughed on. "It's not funny, Uncle Baton," Edward said with a frown as he flicked the last insect, one that he assumed was some kind of ant, from his hand. "I'm sorry," Baton apologized, still chuckling hard. "It's just the instant look of fear on your face when they crawled up--"

His face lit up as he ran his fingers over the covers, picking out a thick book filled with dinosaur pictures and facts, plus a few comic books about a dino superhero. “And an action figure, too!” Uncle Liam said, handing Rhett a T-Rex with a big roar button. Rhett’s face was pure joy as he hugged it tight, looking like he’d just found his best friend. With our bags loaded, we made our way to the checkout, and Uncle Liam paid for everything. As we headed back to the car, Rhett and I couldn’t stop talking about our new treasures. Once we were back in the car, we buckled up, both of us clutching our bags and sneaking peeks at the new things inside.

I can tell Uncle Leo we aren't ready yet. 'I'm sure. I don't think it will help us, but it won't hurt either.' She said. I picked up the book. It was an old, deep brown, leatherbound book with the title in gold leaf. 'Tales of Olde'. It was heavier than I expected. Uncle Leo hadn't told me the title of the story so I skimmed the contents page. None of the titles mentioned an unnamed wolf. I sighed.
