Novel & Cerita Booktok Cover

Viktoria’s POV I scanned the books, and I wanted to be careful with them as they didn’t look fake old. They were really old. As I pulled one off the shelf and I felt the texture of the cover, I dropped it on the floor! A shiver ran down my spine as I looked at the book. The cover was made out of skin, not leather! It wasn’t human, and it wasn’t an animal. I couldn’t place what kind it was, but it was definitely skin! I carefully picked it up and shivered as I put it back. I would have to be more careful and was lucky that the book didn’t tear or get damaged. No longer able to slip my finger over the backs of the books for fear I might touch something else I didn’t want to know about, I tried

Cole brings it to me, sitting back down on the couch while the kids roll around with their toys on the rug in front of us. Maeve is slack in Aviva’s arms, both of them fast asleep on the opposite couch. I smile at the image and quietly rip the paper away. It’s a book. Smaller than average and bound by fresh leather. There’s no title engraved on the cover. I look up at Cole, thinking he’d be smiling and a little pink in the cheeks in anticipation for my reaction, but he looks grave. I open it. It’s a printed rendition of the Book of Whispers.

Suddenly, his ears turned a deep shade of red, and he quickly looked away, clearing his throat. Perplexed, I frowned. “What is it?” He handed the book back to me without meeting my gaze. “Nothing. Just... interesting choice.” Confused, I looked down at the book in my hands. My eyes widened in horror as I took in the image: a shirtless man with rippling muscles, a woman draped over him, their lips locked passionately. The bold title on the cover read: “Desire’s Embrace.” Instantly, I felt my face turn beet red. I’d purchased… a smut novel.

I can’t believe what I'm seeing right now. "Fuck, it's already released?" I asked in disbelief. I could not stop my hands from taking a copy of my book. The cover of this book is very familiar to me, it was me and Zie but our faces are cut, Zie's naked body is the only thing I love about the cover as if he's compelling you to grab the book and buy it. "Yes, it was distributed the other day at different national bookstores," Zie informs me. I stared at my book again, it's really beautiful, the cover was hardbound so it seemed like it was just like the international books that were released.

I asked with little curiosity. A boy like him shouldn't be tied to the Temple. "No, another item will replace its position. But no worries, I love my job." The book had a sorcerer’s wand coloured violet on the cover. A blue smooth bookmark was attached to it. The book's edges looked like silver but felt like liquid mercury. "You can take the shortcut at the end of this room." "Thanks," I mouthed out. I walked to the other end of the room and placed my hand on the wall, waiting for something to happen.

“I thought putting you with Meghan or Rose first would make you want to leave. I don’t have much I can show you for now so that left Robert as the only choice.” “Thanks for making me sound like a drastic last resort,” Robert complained in mock offense. “Zach, bring your chair over when work officially starts.” At nine, Zach pushed his chair over to Robert’s desk. “I handle the lighter erotica mainly. It’s the content that you can read in public without offending most people. One of the books I am helping with is close to publication and I was wondering if you could choose the cover.” Robert proceeded to show him an array of potential cover images that varied from lurid to boring. Zach picked

He nodded slowly and before he could say anything more, the bedroom door swung open. Erick and Jess stood at the doorway; they were both breathless, so we knew they were running. Jess held one of the thickest books I had ever seen; it was a large brown book with golden decals swirled throughout the cover. In the front of the book, in a silvery oval was a white infinity symbol I didn’t quite recognize and then written in white above the symbol read: Book of Magic. “Woah…” I breathed, staring at the book. It was real.

“Calm down Celene, the book..it's not going anywhere.” I didn't bother answering him, he couldn't possibly understand what was at stake, I would finally understand what had happened to my people, why my mother had made the decision she had…I could finally understand my true nature…everything. The book looked unassuming tightly wrapped with a dark red clothed cover, embossed on it, a wolf painted silver, excitedly I slowly unwrapped its cover. The rhythmic pounding of my heart is a testament to my eagerness to learn. Yellowed pages delicately sewn in come into view, My eyes turn to meet Alex in a glance as he leans closer, his eyes a mix of curiosity and amusement.

I suggest, giving my shoulder a slight shrug. Kenji picks up a book and passes it over to Levi to place beside his book on the other table. Levi looks down at it and grimaces before setting it next to the ghost book. My brows rise in curiosity as I walk over to see the book. Forbidden Sex Magic stares back at me in bright red letter, the picture of a naked woman being rammed into by a centaur graces the cover. “Well that is disturbing.” I tell them, placing the book back down and putting the ghost book on top of it to hide the cover. Levi and Kenji let out loud spurts of laughter behind me as they watch my discomfort over the book.

If you have any picture or book cover you want me to use also tell me. Thank you for choosing this book. Your sincerely Chocolate sugar❤
