Forbidden: My Stepbrother, My Mate

Forbidden: My Stepbrother, My Mate

I was twenty-five years old and terrified. The book was released on a Tuesday. By Friday, it hit the bestseller list. "It's number three," Rebecca called to tell me. "And climbing. Early reviews are incredible." I read some reviews online. They ranged from glowing to hateful. Some readers connected deeply with my story. Others called me a traitor to humanity. "Don't read the negative ones," Kyle advised. "They don't matter." But they did matter. Every hateful comment reminded me why I'd written the book. To combat that exact hatred with truth and love.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

This is my third book on this platform and by far my best and most thought out work. With that being said, I want to address all the critics. I do actually read the comments and take to heart the things I can actually improve on. Constructive criticism only makes me better and I appreciate thoughts and insights from readers. Many of you catch things I never would have seen and I truly love the character discussions. Your oustide perspective helps me grow the world I am creating in my stories. But...

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

LOVE LOST, LOVE FOUND

LOVE LOST, LOVE FOUND

There were some people who were criticizing my book, saying that the lawyer in my story was a loser, that she was weak and couldn't even confront her husband. At first, I felt a sting from the criticism. It hurt to hear that people were saying such negative things about my work. I started to wonder if I had made a mistake by sharing my story with the world. But as I read on, I realized that the criticism wasn't entirely unfounded. The lawyer in my story was weak, at least in the sense that she wasn't able to confront her fears and stand up for herself. She was stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and fear, and it took her a long time to break free.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

Don said: "Because it tells me that the personal form of the argument will not work for every reader. I already knew this. The letter from the woman in the north of England told me that it works for the reader it needs to work for. The mixed review tells me that it does not work for everyone. Both are true." One review was negative in the specific way of negative reviews that reveal more about the reviewer than the reviewed: the reviewer who had not understood the argument and had reviewed the book they had expected rather than the book they had received. This reviewer had written about cities—about the way the book had failed to address urban environments, about the implicit privileging of

How Do I Seduce My Married Bodyguard?

How Do I Seduce My Married Bodyguard?

“I’d rather read the manual for a fridge.” Someone snorted, I didn’t see who, and the disapproval on the professor’s face deepened. He looked like someone had peed in his Cheerios, or whatever the Americanism was. “This masterpiece of literature would not be published in today’s time because people are impatient and have a short attention span, which is a pity.” No, he was the pity. The book was excellent when you broke it apart and studied it, it had its interesting parts, but the professor was doing nothing to make the story or the study engaging for his students.

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Mystery of You

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Mystery of You

The History of Literary Criticism. "Huh," I laugh. No wonder it's never been read. It sounds incredibly boring. It's so beautiful, though, that I can't resist pulling it down off the shelf and carefully flipping open the cover. And that's when I understand why this book is different. It's not a book at all - at least not a functional one. All of the pages have been glued together, and a block has been carved out of the middle, making a perfect little nook in which to conceal something. There's something inside - a small, roughly rectangular bundle wrapped in plain cloth.

Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

They weren't joking when they said they'll have a word with my boss about my working hours. Instead of dying from embarrassment, I headed toward the book section, I could read while they aren't here. It's probably the last time I'll set foot in this place, my boss is one mean lady, she'll fire me for sure. Looking around the shop was fairly packed today, we weren't extremely busy, but not empty either. I was trying to catch a book from the top shelf, while keeping my short skirt down. I really should ask mommy for longer skirt, even with the high knee socks keeping me warm, I still was at risk of diaper flashing.

Billionaires heartbeat

Author note 📝 The last two comments about the book left me feeling quite demotivated. But I finally picked up my notebook and pen and started writing ✍ again, because I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion and not everyone will love your work and sometimes criticism is another great way of ensuring you polish up your work. SO please do continue to comment and let me know what you think so far, and will hopefully post more updates should you love this turn of events.

Mr CEO's Triplets Mom

Mr CEO's Triplets Mom

She turned to her left and saw Mrs Westwood and Alicia scowling really hard at the scene in front of them. " This is just the beginning of tonight bitches. More is on the way." Ashley said inwardly with her dirty smirk. (Author's Sad Note) I've been criticized for being an awful Author simply because I put my readers choices in my story. Calling me an awful Author. Asking me to pay you back your money spent on reading my book. Calling my book a trash.. Asking me to learn from famous Authors etc.... I'm okay with your criticisms. But you have to know there's a thin line between criticism and abuse. You are welcome to criticize me or my book. But please don't abuse me. I have to remove such co

I'm really enjoying this novel so much. I have been reading novels for a while now and i really like the direction of the this one. Also be proud of yourself and don't allow anyone to bring your spirit down. For someone who self taught herself to read and write. Should be Congratulated.

Hello babies. I would like to thank you all for all the supports you gave to Book 1 and 2. I really appreciate each one of you. I would like to ask for your opinion please. Would you prefer if I write book 3 under the same title or I should write it under a whole new book??. Thanks

Frequently Asked Questions

Booktok has become a massive platform for book recommendations, but it often prioritizes trends over substance. Many reviews are overly simplistic, focusing on aesthetics or hype rather than the actual content of the book. This can lead to misleading impressions, especially for readers who rely on detailed critiques. The fast-paced nature of TikTok also encourages quick, surface-level takes, which don’t allow for nuanced analysis. Additionally, the algorithm tends to amplify popular opinions, drowning out diverse perspectives. While it’s great for discovering new books, it’s not the best place for accurate, in-depth reviews. Readers should approach Booktok recommendations with caution and seek out more balanced sources for critical insights.
