For a moment, everyone froze. Adrian, however, smiled faintly and declared, "Break!" The invincible gale-force winds in the void shattered instantly. With a single punch, Adrian obliterated the force blocking his path as if it were nothing. Confusion filled the crowd. What was going on? Despite the immense power, Adrian broke through without hesitation or struggle. At that moment, Adrian took another step forward, ascending to the 100th step and stepping into the clouds. Only then did he truly understand.

I stomp my feet down on the haze and cried, "Why did you both leave me? I need you now mom, dad, now more than ever…” I close my eyes, letting myself collapse on the warm wet clouds. The clouds flutter under my skin, as though it was a bird, which made me force a bitter smile. The bright pockets of sun shone down on me–it was mesmerizing to be high up on the clouds and gaze down on the city below. I have to remind myself, time and time again that it was just a work of magic. I won’t be able to go down there even if I stomp or knock on the barrier. It doesn’t work that way, I have to be selected to be allowed down there.

So I asked Lucas and seek for an answer. "Master, as you can see, here in Tórshavn, the weather is always cloudy and gloomy..." Yep, I knew 'bout that. "Because, Tórshavn is the cloudiest place in the world. In this specific spot, it was like you can really reach the clouds with your fingertips." Lucas did raise his hands, as if he was really touching the clouds.

The sky dissolved into a deafening roar of rushing wind and blinding white vapor. The shattered ruins of the Cloud Spire vanished above us, swallowed whole by the turbulent storm layer. We were falling at the terminal,putting deeper into the uncharted cloud sea that veiled the lower mountain reaches. The freezing atmospheric pressure clawed at my face, threatening to strip the air straight from my lungs. Gideon didn't let go. His massive arms remained locked around my waist, pulling me against his chest, shielding my head from the flying shards of aquamarine crystal that rained down through the mist around us.

It gave him just enough strength to try and stand. I put his arm over my shoulder. He was heavy, so heavy, but I felt like I had the strength of ten women. "One step," I said. "Just one." We stumbled through the fog, two ghosts in a silver world. My skin felt like it was peeling off, and my throat was so tight I could barely swallow. But I held onto him like he was the only solid thing left in the universe. When we finally broke through the top of the cloud and reached the clear air near the ridge, we both collapsed onto the dirt. I rolled onto my back, staring at the blue sky. It looked so peaceful up there.

"Marcus, gather every able-bodied wolf. We aren't rebuilding the manor today. We’re building a 'Breaker.'" ​The "Tameless Heart" of the North was about to attempt the impossible: to punch a hole through reality itself to reach the throat of the South.

"How much longer do you plan on dragging Barrett down?" I gasped, staring at the abrupt, terrifying transformation. "You're nothing but dead weight to a man on the rise," Astrid smirked, stepping closer. "What could a broken thing like you offer him?" The words "dead weight" hit their mark. It was the brutal, bleeding truth. I was indeed a burden to Barrett. Before I could reply, Astrid stepped behind my seat and tightly gripped the handles of my wheelchair.

Black clouds swept in, rolling across the sky. "The heavens are on my side!" Oscar lit up. The more thunder, the more power he could draw. He shot back into the sky and into the storm clouds again. "Doomsday Storm! Die!" Oscar roared. From the pitch-black clouds, endless bolts of lightning came pouring down. The mountains around had collapsed, and it was as if the earth had split open. Oscar had tapped into the core of his physique—he was going all in. Grinding his teeth, he bore massive pressure.

The only challenge, however, is weather Aria will let me go. With renewed determination, I step out of the shadows, ready to embark on a new path. A path where I wil no longer be defined by my past mistakes, but by the actions I will be taking in pursuit of a better future. However, before I can even reveal myself, Vornt's fear inducing voice reaches my ears.

James’s Hospital:- Kiara’s POV:- Beyond the windowpane, the world was draped in a muted, gray veil, the clouds gathering like a congregation of somber spirits. The sky, a canvas of melancholic hues, held a symphony of ashen tones, each layer merging seamlessly with the next. The sun, hidden behind this curtain of clouds, cast a diffused glow, painting the scene with a subdued radiance. The clouds hung low, their edges soft and billowy, like strokes of an artist’s brush sweeping gently across the sky. They moved in a slow, almost leisurely dance, as if lost in their own thoughts, their shapes shifting and morphing with every passing moment.
