Bride of the Beast
I gasped, snapping my head up to see the bulky minotaur frame of what I could only describe as a monster staring back at me.
”My, My, aren’t you precious? Bride of the beast,” The monster drawled in a watery baritone that stopped my heart cold in my chest as I let out an involuntary scream, trailing back across the roof’s shingles as I watched it pant hungrily, the tree-trunk size of the monster’s arms hanging limply by its sides.
I raked my eyes across it’s form, struggling to comprehend exactly what it was that i had been looking at before the monster laughed, snapping my attention back to it’s mangled face.
