" My love! Are you hurt? Remember! Don't leave without telling us anything. Also, didn't I tell you that don't talk to strangers!?" How to describe a heartache romantically? Agony of heart? How does a poet create beautiful poems of heartbreak? I don't know. Because it doesn't feel like Autumn's unwelcome wind or winter's unbearable cold. That pain is something indescribable. It doesn't suit any line of those poems. A stranger? Yes. I am the stranger here. But since I am a human too. Can't he be a little considered for my heart? Why is he so eager to break it like he is breaking some candy glass?

"And by the end he confessed that he loved me and I didn't know how to react to it," I felt numb and a silent observer of my heartbreak. It was as if I could hear the sound of my heart shattering, not unlike the sharp crack of a wooden bat connected with a baseball. But no, it was messier than that. It was more like the relentless pounding of rain from a powerful thunderstorm on a tin roof, each dropping a hammer blow until the surface shattered into billions of tiny fragments. Fragments of my heart that I couldn’t piece back together by myself.

Izzy Pov... In the caverns of her chest, a once vibrant heart now lay shattered, its fragmented pieces scattered across the desolate landscape of her soul. Each jagged edge of pain bore witness to the relentless onslaught of disappointment and loss, carving a deep chasm within that seemed to swallow any semblance of joy. Her constant cries aren't enough to heal her callous shattered heart. The weight of unspoken grief anchored her spirit, its heaviness an ever-present reminder of the ache that seemed to seep into every fiber of her being.

Her heart seems to be breaking into pieces, making her feel numb. Midnight neighed, seeming to feel its owner's desolation. ****😳😢😳****

The pain in my voice echoed through the night, a haunting reminder of my shattered dreams and broken heart. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks—our bond was irreparably broken, and no amount of wishing or hoping could change that. As I howled in pain, another howl joined mine, sounding as painful and heartbreaking as my own. Maybe someone else out there was feeling the same heartache as me—a connection in our shared suffering.

I sat in the empty boardroom, my mind numb as the magnitude of my defeat settled in. The room that had once been the battlefield of my ambitions now felt like a tomb, cold and desolate. I couldn’t remember how long I had been sitting there, staring at the table where moments before, my entire world had come crashing down.

He took a deep breath and continued. "I can't take the weight of your love, I just can't. I'm getting lost on you, I feel like you'll be safe in the hands of another. I'm beyond damaged, I'm broken to the core. There are times I've felt maybe I'm not broken, just bent, but now, now I know I'm broken. Despite knowing broken things still work, I also know there's an expiry date. Broken things work till they don't."

When your heart is broken, there are no words to describe the feeling. You could describe the feeling of sadness afterwards, but not the actual heartbreak - because when your heart is broken, shattered even, by someone who was made for you, no words come to mind, no words can get passed your tongue. All you feel is an intense numbness taking over your body, no feelings could be felt, no sound could be heard, no scents could be smelled, no nothing. Just the knowledge that your heart is being broken and it may never heal.
