Bradley needs to take his anger out on someone, and I guess that person is me, though I didn't do a damn thing to him besides bring his secret vendetta out into the open. Connor is a damn good kid, according to his file. He is an excellent Soldier, graduated high school at the top of his class, works hard, and is a good person. Works part-time for her mom, but because he's not from money or a distinguished family, Brad won't let his daughter be happy. That is just selfish and pathetic.

“It is. There’s war!” The man smirked, revealing a row of gold teeth. “Then we are listening.” Bryan’s voice was steel. “Ronan Carter is alive. And he has my mother and my fiancée.” A ripple of murmurs passed through the crowd. Some faces darkened, others turned curious. Ronan Carter was a name that still sent chills through even the most hardened criminals. The scarred man—Viktor, a known underworld enforcer—folded his arms.

After grilling the hamburgers, Connor sits beside me and says in confidence. “Don’t s… say it to the gu… guys, but I’m go… going to do a trea… treatment to stu… stu… stutter.” Connie stares at me looking for some support and I don’t know what to say. Connie, among the Vaugh brothers, is the most handsome, his brown livid eyes, dark hair, tanned, with a strong and masculine Adonis body, that the symbol of Greek beauty would die of envy. I don’t think the fact that he stutter makes him a bad man. In the end I actually think his charming in his half shy clumsy way.

"What's the situation?" In response to Shane's inquiry, the assistant handed over a stack of documents. "Sir, please take a look at these." Shane glanced through the documents, and the surveillance footage captured a scene of someone looking for the family members of construction workers. Shane recognized the person—Ronin Oconnor. He tapped the image on the paper and whispered to the assistant, "He's deliberately showing his face to me!"

Sydney Bryce turned. It was a man in his forties with perfect blond hair and teeth too white to be natural. I stared for a second too long before it occurred to me that they were veneers. “It’s me!” He grinned, staring at Bryce who seemed to be having a hard time recognising him. “Marcus McBroten. We met briefly in London last year? Lake deal?” Bryce’s eyes shifted slowly as he smiled. “Marcus! Of course! You were the crypto guy!”

"W-What? N-No, I don't want a- no, I was wondering if you could tell me if you knew an old friend of mine, his name is Christian O'Connor?" "Who?" AJ asks blindly before taking another drag of his cigarette. "Christian O'Connor, err - here, this is him...?" the driver reaches out to the rider with an old photograph stuck to his fingers, though, AJ found himself doing a double-take when he saw the face of the man standing proud in a soldiers uniform, "I've been told he lives here now? Though, I'm not sure I have the right place," he adds as he examined the old club behind AJ once more.

“How’s life? Still chasing lost causes?” Elliot let out a low laugh, the sound almost dangerous, but he didn’t take the bait. “Actually, I’ve been pretty busy,” he replied, his eyes flicking to me for a second before returning to Spencer. “In fact, I brought someone you all should meet.” He gestured, and a guy stepped up—tall, wavy brown hair, blue eyes that seemed to scan everyone. “This is Connor O’Brien. My new assistant. He’ll be working with me from now on.”

"I am nobody," she replied, "I had no idea werewolves existed or that my husband was anything other than a teacher until a few days ago when Leonardo and his friend, Luciano, abducted me as blackmail against Achilles."

After a while, he sighed. "My real name is Lucian Quentin Ross". His cold voice broke the silence. I raised my head to look at him. Shock evident on my face. "My dad is Damien Ross". He continued. A small gasp flew from my lips, my eyes widening in surprise. I've heard of Damien Ross. He was one of America's biggest and most wanted drug lord. Ignoring the look on my face, he continued.

“I’ve heard about you and Zachary.” Charlotte sneered. “My personal affairs are none of your business. I’ll say this again: You’re in my way. Step aside!” Bryson replied, “Everyone in the industry knows how cold and merciless Zachary Connor is.” He then said in an even deeper voice, “He’s a walking demon. Annoy him, and you’re as good as dead.” “Hah!”
