You just focus on getting better.” Killian said and then me and Kate help Bryce lay down and I check on his drip and see that he still has half a bag.

They got to the basketball field and Bryce made her sit in the spectators corner before sitting with her. “I know you're wondering why I want to have a word with you.” He smiled. “Yes, I am.” She answered. Bryce sighed. “I know you're Dominic's mate.” He revealed and her eyes widened. “That's—” “Don't worry, he told me,” Bryce interrupted and she facepalmed internally. “I just wanted to have a one on one talk with my friend's mate, I mean no harm. In case you're wondering, my name is Bryce. I'm his best friend and acting beta for now,” He introduced and Selene smiled.

Bradley needs to take his anger out on someone, and I guess that person is me, though I didn't do a damn thing to him besides bring his secret vendetta out into the open. Connor is a damn good kid, according to his file. He is an excellent Soldier, graduated high school at the top of his class, works hard, and is a good person. Works part-time for her mom, but because he's not from money or a distinguished family, Brad won't let his daughter be happy. That is just selfish and pathetic.
