As I hurried toward the building, distracted by my racing thoughts, I suddenly bumped into someone—a gorgeous woman with an air of confidence

“Oh, I’m so sorry,” she apologized first, her smile warm and sincere.
I managed a small, hesitant smile in return, my earlier frustration still clouding my mood.
“It’s okay, we’re both at fault,” I replied, extending my hand out of habit.
