Cassidy is sitting on the floor with Snowy in her lap, brushing her fur with her brush. Melodys sat opposite Cassidy with her other bunny, Bluey, doing the same. I stand there watching them interact and bond over the animals I detest, but right now, I can't do anything but grin. Cassidy is being a trooper, allowing Melody to explain everything there is to know about the rabbits and their likes and dislikes. She shows her the herbs the local farm delivers every Sunday. She also shows her the hay that she refills every day. The single bedroom is littered with things that Melody is proud of, and Cassidy does nothing but sit and listen and tell Melody how good she is as an owner.

"You won't need to go to school anymore. You can just stay home and be your sister's maid. Take good care of her." "Okay." I nodded obediently, playing along. As we talked, Luna started selecting the first batch of bunny girls for tonight. She glanced at the fading red hives still covering my skin and looked away in disgust. Nandini clicked the link. Sure enough, it was a video of a cute and very small sized pet rabbit stomping its back feet when being told off by its owner. She smiled before texting him back.
