ENSNARED BY HIS STRANGE PROPOSAL

ENSNARED BY HIS STRANGE PROPOSAL

“Sir, I would love to have the bed. I don't have any.” One of the janitors requested when he discovered that the bed, mattress, pillows, duvet, and sheets were to be burnt. Nevertheless, Johnny and Stanley were standing beside them to ensure that the rumors will fly. Then, Johnny ignored the janitor and ordered. “Set them on fire, at once.” The janitor obeyed and soon, the bed of illicit sex with numerous girls, went up in flames. Now, the smoke and smell got the attention of the neighbors. Just as Johnny wished, they gave him free publications.

Dragon Queen.

Dragon Queen.

Angry red flames quickly covered the shelf, climbing up the wall with angry red fingers. Perci’s head whipped around as the smell of burning leather reached his nose. When he ran in the direction of the rising smoke, Mare was right behind him cursing herself for her forgetfulness and clumsiness. “You left a torch here?!” Perci’s voice was hard and accusing as he squeezed between shelves until he made his way to the aisle where the books were burning. The source of the flames, the torch lay fallen on its side.

The Billionaire's Bedroom Biographer

The Billionaire's Bedroom Biographer

I seethed, so over her fake display of fear. “Yes, that's Alyssa Waters. The renowned Author. I don't know how much you know but her career ended last month because a beta reader read her latest book and saw chapters about heavy incest and rape. Mind you, this has been her oldest beta reader. Personally, she should've told her to change it instead of accusing her and saying she supported child molesters.” “Hmm.” I replied, stroking my chin with my hands and my eyes were fixed on Alyssa's picture on the document.

Barrett: Heart of Promise

Barrett: Heart of Promise

The fire looks intentional, seeing how they made sure to burn everything down. Looking for clues, he saw an untouched part on the flooring, there is a hidden passage, the people who burnt the house must have not searched so much that they did not bother to look further and see this small difference on the floor. The lock was corroded so it was easy for him to open it, it was a small compartment only, a stuff bear and a small box, a few books. He picked and checked out the contents, the box only had different colored marbles of various sizes. Then he browsed the books which are only fairy tale ones, it is also the same they had on the main house library. The story of the fairy goddess, the dr

Airiane
Hello Airiane here! Greetings to everyone visiting my book :) I would greatly appreciate it if you leave reviews and comments. Formerly "My Lover's Fangs". Heart of Promise has reached it's second season now. I hope Barrett will capture your hearts! That's a promise!

The start of the story is in itself quite passionate and makes you want to read more. I liked how the clues keep popping out regarding what exactly happened to the manager. My recommendation at this time would be to leave less space in between the paragraphs as it seems to be too big sometimes.

Destined for the Alpha King

Destined for the Alpha King

The walls were a matte obsidian paint and a long and large black couch crowded the front of the burning fireplace. I went ahead to dutifully clean the black mahogany desk and wide black leather armchair and dust the leather shelves and couch before brushing out dirt on the black royal rug in the middle of the room. I stood in front of the shelves housing the classic erotic books and I picked one out. Venus in furs. I wasn't supposed to be snooping through the Alpha's books, but I just went ahead and flipped through the first few pages. I was flipping through it, trying to grasp the storyline when the door to the study opened.

The Blood Alpha’s Mate

The Blood Alpha’s Mate

They hit the ground with a loud thump. "I think I knocked something over," he said leaning over the edge of the bed. "It's fine." said Elly. Darren got mad at her and tried to throw it in the fire pit one time. she was able to dig it out and there wasn't a single scorch mark on it. If it could survive that it could survive a small fall from the bed. But Darren was already reaching down. He came back up and pulled the book up with him. "I thought you said you weren't a witch."

The Entangled Fate

The Entangled Fate

"This is not good." Jacquard felt something clutch in his chest. He tried to confirm what he saw one more time. It was a little different from the earlier vids. This time the Slizzard dumped some kind of chemical on chemical on the book and ignited it. The entire book was consumed in seconds. It could have been a fake, too. But in retrospect, the fire in this vid looked much more convincing than had in the other ones. Jacquard replayed it twice. There was an odd hitch in the vid, a sort of stutter in the image of the book ignited.

Pelican Bay Security

Books are pulled off shelves, the bookcase tipped over on top of them. Crumpled sheets litter the floor, ripped from the bed. The mattress is off the box spring a few inches. Nothing broken, but it will involve a long cleanup effort. I don't check on the master bedroom, preferring to pretend it's fine. At least for a few more minutes. I'm back to denial.

OMG one of the BEST books I’ve read on this app. Freaking hilarious with lots of action and romance. I was literally LOL-ing. Like late at night. Laying in my bed. At 2am. Cause I couldn’t stop reading. I’m pretty sure you all know what I mean… could not stop reading!!!

Absolutely 1000% the best stories I have ever read!!! I was so hooked I have read almost 24 hours straight because I didn’t want to stop. I have laughed, smiled, been on edge when action unfolded, even shed a tear or 12 more in the last day reading this than in 40 years of daily reading. I want more

Exchange Help with Mr. Wolf

Exchange Help with Mr. Wolf

Blake jumped on the bed, and I swore it was more effective than my alarm, I jumped from the bed, and the first thing that I realized was: Oh, the bright light that seeped through my eyes came from the things that were burning around me. BURNING! I turned to Blake, astonishing that he kept on fanning the part of the bed where my left foot set. I was covered in a blanket, and because of the burning and smoke around me, I can’t see what he was fanning. But then he turned to me with a tears-stricken face. “Harriet! Your foot is burning, can’t you feel it?!”

Frequently Asked Questions

The question of finding free PDFs for books like 'The Burning Bed' is a tricky one, and I totally get why you'd ask. There’s always that hope of stumbling upon a hidden gem online, especially for older titles. But here’s the thing—while I’ve spent countless hours digging through digital libraries and forums for obscure reads, I’ve learned that most legit sources don’t offer full novels for free unless they’re in the public domain or the author/publisher has explicitly made them available. 'The Burning Bed' by Faith McNulty isn’t public domain, so finding a legal free PDF is unlikely. Sites claiming to have it are often sketchy, packed with malware, or just plain unethical. I’ve had my fair share of disappointment clicking through shady download links, only to end up with a virus or a half-translated mess.

That said, there are ways to read it without breaking the bank. Libraries are a goldmine—many offer digital loans through apps like Libby or OverDrive, and you can often request titles they don’t have. Secondhand bookstores or online marketplaces might have cheap physical copies too. I once found a battered but perfectly readable edition for a couple bucks at a thrift store! If you’re set on digital, keep an eye out for sales on platforms like Kindle or Kobo; classics and older nonfiction titles often drop to pocket change during promotions. It’s not the instant gratification of a free download, but it’s way less risky, and you’re supporting the legacy of incredible works like this one. Plus, there’s something satisfying about building a collection the right way—even if it takes a little patience.
