I laughed. “It’s for you, buddy.” He gasped. “For me?” “For you.” He jumped once, twice. “Put it on! Put it on!” I knelt again and helped him slip his arms through the straps, adjusting it carefully so it didn’t hang too low. He looked down at himself, then back up at me, pure delight on his face.

“A reminder that no matter where we go, you belong with us.” Kayla swallowed the lump in her throat, touched beyond words. Slowly, he rolled his shirt cuffs up to expose his strong, toned arms.

Rayan stammered. Scott took that as an affirmative and guided Rayan to the register so they could test the toys. It's not quite what Rayan meant, but at this point he was kind of just along for the ride. The cashier, decked out in braids and body jewelry, was actually super helpful, opening all the packages so Rayan could feel them. She even ran through the features of the electric ones. He was a little afraid to touch them. "Honestly, hun, you look super nervous," she commented. "Don't be. These things don't bite, they're designed to feel good. Will this be your first one?"

Little siblings; can't live with them but you gotta love them. About ten minutes after Max had left I was finished and it was time for me to go as well. I got up from the chair and picked up my red Torchic side bag and I also picked up a black leather bracelet that had six pokeballs attatched to it. I latched the bracelet to my wrist and pulled the sleeve of my blazer over it. "I'm gonna head out now Mom." I said as I made my way to the front door. She followed me and opened the door for me
