All the lights were off. 'I don't find anything amiss.' Bash said. Blaze walked in through the door, scraped his hand against the wall to switch on the lights even though he could see perfectly well in the darkness. Before he could switch on the lights though, the room lit up. Blaze blinked when he noticed the decorations in the living room. Lots of black balloons were hung along the staircase. "Surprise!" Lilith exclaimed as she jumped in front of him, holding a bouquet of flowers. Her voice shot through the air, breaking the eerie silence that had Blaze's heart racing alarmingly.
