The only sound you could hear wear their chants and the birds chirping. The leader of the group stood in the middle. She was in her early forties. She stood in the circle with her long black robe with thorns on it. There was a crown of daffodils flowers on her head and she stood in the circle holding a white lamp which was tied by the legs. She slaughtered the lamb at the neck as they chanted aloud. She took a calabash and allowed the blood from the lamb to pour inside. She inhaled deeply and dipped her finger inside the blood and put it in her mouth. She began to chant louder than others and knelt on the ground whipping her hair and rolling her eyes as if controlled by someone else.

The moon illuminated their path, guiding them towards their destination. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they reached the highest peak of the Silver Mountains. The air was thin and crisp, the scent of pine filling their lungs. At the summit, they found a small clearing, bathed in silver moonlight. In the center, a tranquil pool shimmered with ethereal beauty. "This must be the Lunar Pool," Luna murmured, her voice filled with awe. "Now, it's time to perform the Moon Ritual." Amelia and Elias stepped back, giving Luna the space she needed. Luna stepped towards the edge of the pool, feeling the power of the moon coursing through her veins. He was a big man with scars across his face. “The circle is charged with lunar ash.” he said, his voice echoing. “It will amplify what is in you, if you are what you claim to be, the moon’s power will answer, you will make the ash glow with your own light, you have until the moon reaches the shaft above.” He pointed upward. High in the cavern roof, a narrow shaft was cut, a perfect beam of cold, white moonlight shone straight down, inching slowly across the stone floor toward the edge of my circle. It was a timer.

I also reviewed some of the pack's financial records, making sure everything was in order. As the morning wore on, I decided to take a walk in the pack's gardens. The fresh air and sunshine would do me some good, and I needed a break from the confines of the pack house. As I strolled through the gardens, I saw something I never noticed before. In the center of the clearing stood a large, ancient-looking tree. And carved into the trunk of the tree was a symbol I recognized — the symbol of the Lunar Curse. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at the symbol. The Lunar Curse was a legendary affliction that caused werewolves to lose control of their wolves during full moons. It was said
