"Then let’s begin." She gestured for Lena to take her place among the circle of runes carved into the earth. The moment Lena sat down, the space around her vibrated as though with some force. Celeste knelt beside her, palm hovering above Lena's heart. "The power of the Moon Goddess is based on your feelings," Celeste said. "That is your hurts, your rage, your love-all of them are the energy. But you have to be careful very much. Once you lose yourself in that then probably will not be better than the creatures we oppose to."

An odd thought occurred to her as the little craft finally bumped the larger one and men above called and tossed out a ladder. Maybe there was someone she should actually be praying to. She leaned along the side of the boat and dipped a hand into the cool, lapping waters as Phineas climbed the ropes and was hauled up. "Thetis," she whispered, "Silver footed Goddess of the calm sea, Goddess of protection and refuge...protect your child, and this child of his." She placed her hand over her stomach, biting her lip, and watched the little waves flicker with moonlight, her chest sizing almost to the point of pain with a wave of fervent desire, of need.

Elias instinctively reached up, touching the tarnished silver band resting on his brow. "It wasn't mined, Architect," Elias said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "It was recovered. From the impact crater." "What crater?" I demanded. "The one at the roof of the world," Cord answered, stepping forward, his massive chest heaving. "The highest peak in the northern frozen wastes. The wolves call it the Goddess's Tear. It is a massive, frozen crater where a fragment of the moon struck the earth ten thousand years ago." I felt the familiar, terrifying thrill of a new impossible equation locking into place.

Calypso rolls her eyes and lets out a sigh. “You know, I really wish people would actually stop spreading that story! Did I love Odysseus? Yes, he was gorgeous and muscular, who wouldn’t fall in love with him. But damn it! I didn’t kidnap him! He’s so fucking dramatic.” She huffs.

Calypso had just giggled and given him a sly glance. “ Because it’s fun,” she had simply said before walking away. Calypso had grown up to become the apprentice and right hand to Queen Hera herself and was the Lord Commander of the Ishtar Dynasty’s armed forces. “ Why in blazes are you attacking us?! Have you gone mad?!” Kronos demanded. “ You’re one of us damn it! Or have you forgotten?! You had kin living here!”

And it does. "As much as I love watching you guys be alive and in love. There are quite a few pressing matters we need to tend to. Calypso, one of them being your father, the king." I hear my brother say from the doorway. I forgot he was even still there watching. Apparently, the doctors said that I was fine and that just having my mate in my arms was what I was needing. That just goes to show that we really cannot survive without her.. "Calypso." I growl, finally resonating her name in my head. "Means to conceal. Also Calypso was the Greek Goddess of Strange Power and Beauty. What a perfect name, for the perfect being." She blushes and plants a kiss on my cheek.

I chuckled awkwardly and sat on the other side of the large couch, pulling Alyse to sit close beside me. “Astéri and I were speaking about our travel plans” Elaine spoke, capturing my attention away from Astéri. “Oh, and what have you come up with?” I asked, taking the bait. “We didn’t get too far into it, we were waiting for you to rise” Astéri cut in. “We’re here now, so let’s get to it” I said leaning back into the soft leather. “The Triple Goddess is on Cape Breton Island. She and her Mate took the positions of Alpha and Luna before the hunters attacked” Astéri began.

Something jealous flashed in his eyes. He caught my chin in one hand and forced my head up. “Who were you talking to?” Before I could answer, he wrenched the message stone from me, and the moment his own divine power registered in it, a small, possessive smile touched his lips. “Sweetheart, I see. You’re jealous.” He looked at the burns on my body, and something softened in his eyes that wanted to be tenderness. “Seraphina is the Goddess of Flame. A mortal cannot defy her. You understand?”

General POV Just beneath the confines of the sea, lied a very powerful Queen, Calypso. Long time ago, she had fallen in love with a different creature her kind couldn’t bear. A werewolf, which was known to be brutal and ruthless. She fell pregnant for him and had to make a choice that would affect herself, her lover and the child. Everything was done for the safety of all, but now time had passed. She was not getting any older and she knew she had to bring her daughter back, who was the sole successor of the sea.

She stood behind them, holding her hand on the dagger. Left alone, Deja threw off her cloak, looking at the statue. Slowly she knelt down so that her hooded face was higher than her head. "Goddess," Deya said softly. She fell silent. She had no idea if the alien deity would hear her. Few of the Anmar worshiped the moon goddess. Though she had a temple in Taaldor, almost no one visited it. Deya has never been there, and even more so she never prayed to this goddess. But she was the patroness of werewolves, and they took her seriously.
