Daniel’s POV I didn't expect the war to last so long; I underestimated the pack, but I am not someone you should mess with; I will trample on you and make you wish you had never thought of irritating me. “We're almost at the Dark Wand Pack,” Beta Carl said, and my heart raced. I'd missed Athena so much that I'd spent several nights dreaming of her and our child, always seeming to have her in my embrace and playing with my son, only to wake up to reality the next morning, the aftermath of the dream leaving my heart, aching and yearning for my mate.
