They got dressed, and Jax started the car towards a nearby restaurant with a nice view. The restaurant was located above the sea. The restaurant owner built a small path made of solid wooden planks that jutted into the sea. In the end, he built a seafood restaurant right above the sea. There was only one way into the restaurant, and the edges of restaurant were made of thick glass so visitors could see the sea view from inside the restaurant.

Without my vampire vision I doubted I would've been able to see the ocean. Troy and I walked down to where the captain and several crewmembers welcomed us as we came aboard. "There's shrimp cocktail in the dining area," the captain, whose name was Nick Bordeaux, said. "Thank you, Nick." Troy took my hand. The gesture put a smile on my lips. It seemed to be a thing with him, his need to be close. I didn't mind. The truth was I liked it.

"Are you hungry?" James asked Sirena, who stood near the window, gazing at the vast, close-up view of the sea. "Yeah, I haven’t eaten anything," Sirena replied. "Then wait a moment. I'll order us some food," James said as he walked toward the phone mounted on the wall. James quickly picked up the receiver and spoke to the room service staff. "Can you send up two full dinner sets? One with medium-rare steak and the other... a seafood platter," he ordered, glancing at Sirena. "You like seafood, right?"

"Mr. Schmidt, I'm a guest here. You should prepare a fresh spread of food for me, don't you think? I'm not eating someone else's leftovers." With a gloomy gaze in his eyes, Jameson commanded a helper in a frosty voice," Go prepare a table of fresh dishes." Remy chimed in, "I hate the sea. I don't eat fish or any seafood."
