When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

But it was not the stone walls she was meant to memorize; it was the wolves they stopped to greet. Their first encounter was in a torchlit corridor near the barracks. A massive warrior with a scar that bisected his left brow stepped into their path, arms crossed over a barrel chest. His gaze swept over Natasha with open appraisal, lingering on her shoulders, her stance, the way her weight shifted subtly as if ready to strike. "So this is the Crescent Moon warrior," the man rumbled. "Gideon. Captain of the Shadow Fang guard."

Natasha chuckled softly and replied, "Hahaha... Rex is actually my buddy. He's a very close friend of mine, more like a brother. No romantic attachment whatsoever." "I see... we hope you find a partner, not a business partner you know," Valerie clarified. Bashfully, Natasha responded, "Yes, exactly. Hopefully, when the time is right, I'll meet someone who complements my life. But for now, I'm embracing my singlehood." She concluded with laughter. As the show ended, Natasha was surrounded by her bodyguards, preparing to head to another meeting. The press eagerly approached her for questioning, but her men shielded her until she decided to address them.
