He wanted her dead so he wouldn't have to look at the queen he’d traded for a spy. Madison didn't fight the shove. She leaned into it. She waited until the rear of his Mustang clipped her fender. Then, she pulled the e-brake and flicked the wheel. The Lykan danced. It spun on a dime, the rear end swinging out until her back tires were hanging an inch over the empty air. Time slowed to a heartbeat. She saw the dust motes in the headlights. She saw the terror in Austin’s eyes as he realized she wasn't falling.

"In lane one, we have Viper in his modified Dodge Challenger! Lane two features our returning champion, the mystery racer known only as Black Red! Lane three brings us Nitro in his souped-up Mustang! And in lane four, we have newcomer Phoenix in what might be the fastest BMW we've ever seen on this track!"

This date would be a bust if he lost and he had to go home. ‘have a little more faith. I'm sure Jackson can handle this.’ Cassey assured me. ‘He’s our mate after all.’ I nodded. I was going to trust that he wanted that kiss bad enough to win. “Ohhh, Inferno just leaked something out of his car!” The MC commented. “Oil slick.” I focused on the screen. If Jackson got into that, he would lose control of the steering wheel and he may have to spiral out of the race. Instead of driving through the path and the oil slick, Jackson drove off.

Nearby, Lena underestimated the acceleration of the electric scooter and suddenly rushed forward, crashing directly into someone's car. She fell to the ground, scraping her knee and wincing in pain. The owner of the car got out and cursed furiously, "Do you even know how to ride? Are you looking to die? What bad luck! This is a brand-new car, fresh from the dealership! Pay up!" Lena glanced at the car logo and found it was a Maserati.

The garage was enormous, a brightly lit cavern with mirrored walls reflecting the gleaming machines within. Six exotic cars, sleek and menacing, sat like sculptures under the spotlights: a midnight blue McLaren P1, a gleaming silver Lamborghini Aventador, a stark white Ferrari 812 Superfast, a dark green Aston Martin DB11, a stealth black Bugatti Chiron, and a vibrant yellow Porsche 911 GT3. Two powerful, almost alien-looking motorcycles – a Ducati Panigale V4 and a Kawasaki Ninja H2 – stood proudly on custom stands. As Hades parked the Mustang, he revved the engine, a raw, deafening roar that vibrated through the concrete space.

This was going to be the first time I tried to take out so many enemies at once. When my body felt as if it was getting hot, I opened my eyes and unleashed my energy. Since I didn’t know where the lightning would hit, as it was unpredictable sometimes, I could only pray to the goddess that my aim was true. A blast of lightning cut across the sky and then struck the ground. It landed too close to the truck, causing it to get hit with a power surge. Eclipse quickly reacted and wrapped his arms around me as he jumped. It didn’t do much good because the truck exploded.

I cut her off and practically sped out into the house and straight to my room before she could say anything else to make me feel guilty. — As soon as I finished taking my sweet time in the shower and getting ready, I checked my watch and saw that it was already close to lunch hour in Lakewood Elite. Perfect. I’m right on time then. I hopped into my car, a McLaren Super Series, courtesy of my very generous stepfather from my eighteenth last year, and immediately turned my music on blast. Too far gone Am I too far gone Am I too far gone to save? Help me make it through the day

There was no way he believed that the Lightning Emperor would lose. “We are here,” the white man reported and drove into an underground parking lot. The parking lot was huge and contained many cars. At just a glance there were over a thousand cars here! “It seems that a lot of people got here early today,” the black man observed. There was still an hour to go before the fight. Usually the parking lot would not be this full. “Well, that is the allure of the Lightning King,” the white man chuckled as he found a spot and parked the car.

I waited until the bolt was finished before I crafted it and molded it inside me. Pink lightning covered my skin. It pushed me off the ground, so I was standing facing him. I pointed my two swords directly at him. I released the powered lightning through my swords at him. He flew off his feet across the parking lot. He hung pinned to the side of the second story brick building. The pink lighting crawled across his skin as he screamed out.

If things went on like this, and if someone else got there first and discovered the Sacred Hall ruins, they would lose out. The two men and the cat sped up. In the end, Ding Hao simply took out his beta-stage Qi motorcycle, Black Lightning. It vroomed like a motor, as two long trails of fire spurted out from its engine, carrying Uncle Tianshu and the Demon King, Evil Moon, away. It raced at lightning speed deep into the Bone-burying Forest. Black Lightning was indeed extremely fast. Like a bolt of lightning as its name suggested, it whizzed through the slightly overcast sky.
