Cash Prize Competitions Novels & Stories

He wanted him to remove the news immediately. The photo of him buying sanitary products had made the headlines! What were the people in the PR department doing?! … Feeling the warmth of finally returning home, Catelyn pushed the door open and went inside her house. In the living room, Stella was sitting on the sofa, watching the television with Ollie. "At Sapphire City's Chandier Jewelry Company, the list of the semi-finalists has been announced, and the new round of competition is about to start. The winner will receive a big cash prize and the Chandier Jewelry Designer title. Annual salary is also guaranteed..."

That evening after his friends left him, Tresh called his manager to do some damage control to avoid taking Amaya’s money. Lenny could not believe his luck when he discovered the reason for Tresh’s call. Besides being paid as his manager, he also received a lot of benefits and bribes from other people who wanted to do business with Tresh, the current sponsor included. In no time he had informed the sponsor of the new developments. The sponsor was more than elated to learn that Tresh had rescheduled. They did not mind reorganising the whole event because it was guaranteed to bring them a lot of profit. In just an hour, the social media had reported that the event was on again. Tresh had also

The realization that I knew nothing about him hit me squarely in the face as I took my place next to him, avoiding his eyes because I feared he would see right through me. In total, there were twelve of us, paired into six teams. Clarissa stepped forward. “Okay, the competition will be in three stages. Two games will be played today and after each stage, two couples will be eliminated. Tomorrow is the finale where the top two couples will compete for the grand prize!” Grand prize? I glanced round at the group of obviously wealthy people and I couldn’t help but wonder but kind of prize they could possibly set. It couldn’t be money, surely.

“Hello Mrs. King. Funny you should ask, there indeed is. It's the biggest contest in the whole of the getaway, Ma’am for two special reasons. One, the presence of a highly esteemed guest, and the mouthwatering prize.” “Oh really?” She asked, leaning her elbows on the desk as he spoke. “Yes. The winning couple wins a whopping sum of one million Dollars!” “What?” Marie sputtered in disbelief. A million for a silly game? Mistaking her surprise for scoffing, Stefan nodded. “It's true, Ma’am. I realize for a billionaire like yourself Ma’am, it's barely a drop in the hat. But most couples here would be glad to receive such a prize. And they don't even need to get all the answers right. They just

"Mr. Guller's really going all out. Makes my dinner invite look kinda cheap." Cole gave a sly grin. "I could always have Jordan send you the bill. Then you can say it's all thanks to the King Group's big heart." Helma chuckled, waving off the idea. "I'll pass, thanks!" Cash and prizes sure beat booze when it comes to lifting spirits. Especially when the prizes were expensive. After several rounds of drawing, nearly everyone had snagged a little box or two. The guy who won the car was beaming as he clutched the keys, a picture of pure bliss.

"Only one last step left, that is if you would like to be registered for this once-in-a-lifetime prize. I'll be sending you an SMS shortly. It will contain your secret competition password. You need to SMS this password back to CallCom. This will enter you inv the competition. Have you got a pen handy to take down the number?" "Just wait, sir" The line scratches a little. Then Emily returned. "Yes?" Gregory gives her his cell phone number. "Now, Emily, it is very important that you SMS that competition password. That could mean two million in your bank account by the end of the day. Keep the password secret. You will need it to claim your prize." "Thank you, sir." "Keep well, Emily. And good

"Your story. The story of what Victor Vance and Madame Laurent did to you in Geneva. The frame-up. The planted drugs. The corporate land grab." I turned to Daniel. "We don't go to corporate sponsors. We go to the global chess community. We launch a decentralized, open-source crowdfunding stream live on the internet. We broadcast the truth about the Lausanne Syndicate directly to the two hundred million chess players around the world." Daniel’s hazel eyes lit up with sudden, brilliant realization. "An open-source prize pool! Every viewer who donates five dollars gets a digital vote on the tournament pairings!" "And we call it The Rogue Gambit," I declared, my voice ringing clear through the c

“But didn’t you always say jewelry should stay fresh, always upgrading? Or are you actually just out of money? Oh, right I forgot, that fifty-million payout scandal. His parents caught wind of it. I’d assume your accounts are under close watch these days.” “Fifty million on rewards?” Alex, curious. Fifty million wasn’t remotely impossible for him to fathom, but it wasn’t pocket change either. He genuinely wanted to understand what kind of promotional offer justified that scale of spend. “Just game payouts. Cash for staying logged in, refunds on tasks, raffle drops in fan groups, that kind of thing” “Was it a holiday? Some kind of national celebration?” “Neither. Just a regular day.” Alex sta

Jack and Jeffery also gave her a congratulatory hug. “And…erm….sorry for cutting the celebration short..but I will also need to call the first and second runner. Just like the way we do it year after year, the first and second runner up will be given prizes too; but this year things seem to be different. We are also gonna give consolation prizes to the participants, but there will be a third runner up and that will be Jeffery Woodson” He muttered as Jeffery steed forward. “And we will be offering him a gift prize of 15 millions USD and a modeling contract…congratulation Jeffery” Axel shook hands with him, giving him the pendant.

She seemed to be running hurriedly toward us. This was what I feared; Jeremy and the others must have come up with something crazy for this match. "What?" Dylan asked. "So, since you guys said you wanted to have a push-up contest, we, as your partners, have planned to give a prize! The winner will get a kiss, concert tickets, and a romantic dinner! Of course, this is sponsored by our lord, Sam!" Catherine exclaimed loudly. Cheers and applause accompanied their conversation. Honestly, I already felt bad. They must be doing all of this for Ashley and me.
