Indeed satisfactory. "The arts and design apartment will soon be conducting a competition amongst the students of arts and designing. The student who wins will receive a recommendation to the top 10 jewellery designing companies along with the $50,000 cash as prize. So, start preparing your best designs in this week for the competition. Don't disappoint me. Good luck to all of you." Loud murmurs commenced as students started to talk to each other, discussing the competition. Everyone wanted to win. $50,000 was not a small sum.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Deal? That gave me pause. The Aureate Awards ran every two years. It was an international design competition with big-name sponsors and wide press coverage. Spots were impossible to get unless you had brand backing. Nyx barely scraped one entry per round. The last guy who made it in placed nineteenth, then vanished from our office two months later with a new job and a fat contract. I tapped my nail against the phone’s edge. ‘If we’re going by merit, the spot’s already mine. Giving it to anyone else would be a waste. You know that.’

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

Here To Stay

For Infinity, it's funny to think that The Journal is this big now. Before, when they were just starting, she and April were the only writers. Their salaries are often delayed, or they do not receive a large royalty. They find it difficult to make ends meet. But they never left the company. Because writing became their punching bag when, once again, the world failed them. After eating dinner, the highlight of the event finally started. The awarding ceremony. And as expected with Sir Patrick, it upheld the Grammy's theme. Complete with event hosts and an AVP presentation of each book nominated on the big screen! The program really affirmed the theme. She was also nominated in another category

Then, he pulled a big colorful poster out of his briefcase and stuck it up in front of the board. After all, he was my numero uno fan. “Not really… well, kind of. My manager told me about this competition all over the States when I went to submit my draft to her, it’s about writing an original novel on any genre the writer prefers. Whoever wins—I think there will be one from each genre—will get their book published nationwide and sign a five-year contract with one of the famous publication houses.” I explained. “Ah! That’s great! You decided on what to write yet?” he asked curiously, laying his head on my lap as he did so. “I could give you—”

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

CURSED ALPHA'S HUMAN MATE

CURSED ALPHA'S HUMAN MATE

Martin warned him and an air of tension moved around the class. “Let me explain you one thing…” Mr. Martin said. “The purpose of this quiz is that the students who will get the highest score will be eligible to take part in the Virginia Essay Competition which is one of the huge and important competitions of the year. I want everyone to do their best in this quiz so that you are able to get into the competition because this competition has a cash prize of two thousand dollars for the winner” Mr. Martin added and my jaw dropped down as I heard the cash prize. “Oh my god…” I whispered. “Um…” I started and raised my hand to say something.

Starlight of the dark night

Starlight of the dark night

She immediately accessed the photo section with the winner's information. This contest includes 5 prizes. One winner, two second and two thirds. Tinh Ngoc scrolled through the information of each recipient, and in the process, Dinh Quan was still sitting quietly beside her. The first winner is an amateur, female artist, aged over 30. Her work is a vivid nature painting with colorful flowers and vitality. The world in her eyes was a patch of cheerful light and throbbing with sunlight. Thereafter, the two people who received the second prize were students of the art department of two universities in the neighboring city.

“Do you know about the corporate Hackathon that’s coming up?” “Of course. We’re sending in our top developers to participate in it.” “Really?” I asked, “What’s the prize money?” “Ten thousand dollars.” “Wow, what?” I exclaimed. “That’s a lot of money.” “Yes. They intend to find a talented coder through the competition. The prize money is just one of the perks. They have more.” “Such as?” “Well, a lot of companies have their eyes on the competition. The winners and runners up will be given a lot of opportunities, job proposals, what not. It is great for one’s CV.”

When He Threatens The Rich Girl

When He Threatens The Rich Girl

"You will be late for the awarding, honey." "I'm already winning in life. I have a beautiful wife, two lovely kids and a house that has the presence of home. What award can surpass this?" I gently punch his chest with my hands. "Still. You worked so hard for this. Honey, you deserve every recognition you could ever have." "If only you did not pull out your joining. I read your drafts, it has so much potential on it." His eyes were looking in between my eyes and my lips. "It's okay. I can join for this year's competition. Have you heard? There would be a competition that would give Man Booker Prize as the final award." I said and look the other way.

Frequently Asked Questions

I was just researching this because a friend asked, and honestly, the ones with the biggest numbers aren't always the most visible. The Reedsy platform runs a weekly contest with a $500 prize, which adds up if you're consistent, but the submission window is tight. For sheer scale, the Self-Published Science Fiction Competition used to have a $10,000 grand prize funded by sponsors, though I think the structure changed recently. A lot of the 'big money' contests seem to be tied to specific genres or very niche themes from private foundations, which can feel a bit like winning the lottery.

What surprised me was discovering some university-affiliated short story contests for 'emerging writers' that offer upwards of $2,500. They aren't advertised on mainstream writing sites, you have to dig through university English department pages. The catch is they often require the work to be unpublished anywhere, even on a personal blog, which is a huge commitment for a single piece. It makes you weigh whether locking a story away for a year for a chance at a prize is better than just publishing it serially online and building an audience. Still, for a clean, unpublished manuscript, those can be a decent shot.
