Castle Dressed To Kill Novels & Stories

No one from the castle would have been able to see my pull up, not from here, not under the cover of the bushes and plants at the edges. That was just how I wanted it. It was just how I had planned it. This way, no one would even know I was back. No one would see the driver, and realize I was in the castle. It gave me the element of surprise and I knew that I would need. I moved through the undergrowth, silent and deadly. When I got into the castle, I was going to find both Ryder and Delan. I would kill them both and reclaim the throne. I just had to make sure no one else saw me first.

"I'll kill him right now!" My heart cracked as my stomach twisted. Instantly, I lowered my gun. "Throw it over there," Gray Beard gestured to some trees. I did exactly as he instructed. Gray Beard pulled Thomas to his feet. Thomas's eyes were calculating as he tried to figure out what to do.

He roared. Kael stabbed his arm, stabbing Callum through his hand, both men groaned in pain. Torv swung, forcing Callum to dodge, his sword smashed against the wall leaving the room cloudy with cement dust. “You planned this, didn’t you?” Callum said, his scarred cheek pale, as he frowned. “Rogues don’t just storm my castle, you’re after something..” he whispered. Keira tried to run forward despite Annie holding her. “Your Grace, they’re not talking, they don’t understand us!” she shouted, her badge glinting, her face pale.

But their enemies would not go down quietly. It happened under the moonless sky. An explosion tore through the east wing of Hallerus Castle, sending flames licking against the night. Soldiers rushed to extinguish the blaze, but as they did, shadows crept into the castle. Inside her chamber, Helen sat calmly, dressed in dark, travel-ready attire. A dagger rested at her side. From the corridor outside, a scream rang out. Then silence. The door creaked open. A masked figure stepped inside, blade glinting in the dim light. But before he could move—A crossbow bolt embedded itself in his throat. The assassin collapsed, gurgling his last breath. From the corner of the room, a hooded man stepped for

“Someone came in here and sprayed the entire floor with knockout gas.” “Knockout gas,” I repeat. “Where is this person?” “He’s standing in front of him,” the person answers, stepping out of the hallway and onto the floor. The person, turning out to be a tall man, is dressed in a long black trench coat and is wearing a gas mask. On his back is a rusted green tube and in his hands is a long, black blaster. “OutCasts," the man shouts. "I presume. Take a deep breath, and fall!"

“I’m sorry for coming unannounced, but I wanted to discuss some things with you and it simply couldn’t wait.” “Welcome, Ellemea. Please have a seat. You are always welcome in Castle Belfonte.’’ She nodded and took a seat on the plush couch, legs crossed. ‘’You want a Scotch?’’ I asked. ‘’No, thank you.’’ ‘’Fine, then.’’ Zander poured me a glass. ‘’I’m sure you’ve heard the news making its way around North America. Two of my guards have been murdered and Sebastian was also murdered. The wolves are staging are attack.”

But they promised each other that no matter how busy they were they would always make time for each other. Alpha Killian was an ambitious upstart in the army of General Tom Harvey. For months, he had been planning a daring attack on Harvard Castle, a heavily fortified stronghold that had stood for centuries. He had assembled a small army of brave and loyal soldiers to join him in the assault, and now all that remained was to arm them for battle. He had carefully organised every last detail, and now the weapons of war were being distributed. As the soldiers began to fill their hands with deadly blades and swords, Killian looked on with a mix of anticipation and apprehension.

And another. Cassius stumbled backward, his breath catching in his throat as the perimeter security was systematically, silently dismantled in seconds. From the pitch black shadows of the archway, a massive, heavily scarred figure stepped slowly into the blinding light of the chandeliers. His crisp white shirt was ruined. His hands were wrapped in dark tactical tape, dripping with fresh blood. His pitch black eyes were entirely consumed by a feral, apocalyptic hellfire. Lucian Sterling had arrived. And the King was ready to burn the castle to the ground.

Our journey would take us a considerable distance. We made it down two flights of stairs without seeing anyone. My heightened hearing allowed me to hear fighting on the ground floor which included snarls and gunshots and the heavy thud of bodies hitting the marble. The castle guards of Dante fought valiantly against the Council Elites who were trained as assassins. The fire door below us exploded open as we approached the second-floor landing. Three men in sleek silver armor rushed up the stairs. They carried short, curved swords that glowed faintly in the red light. Magic-laced steel.

~ Audrey ~ “I’ll kill him for you if you want. Just say the word,” Caspian cracked his neck and knuckles in a sadistic manner. He didn’t look like he was joking, and Audrey trembled a little just by looking at him. “You’re not killing anyone,” Killian said sternly, his eyes fixed on Audrey. “No one is killing anyone,”
