Protector Of The Alpha's Cursed Heir

Protector Of The Alpha's Cursed Heir

Mallory cried. Belarie raised his hand, the fire already forming. Katherine made a sound that had no name. "Please... please let him go." Dante's eyes squeezed shut. Killian lunged forward with nothing but his body and his love for his brother— And then a bomb blast went off. The castle exploded. A grenade came from nowhere and detonated with a percussive crack that shook the floor beneath them. Smoke poured out in thick, choking waves, white and blinding, filling the room from floor to ceiling in seconds.

SNOW WHITE And The Supernaturals Of SHADOWVALE

SNOW WHITE And The Supernaturals Of SHADOWVALE

~Casper's POV~ “CASTOR, FOR CHRIST SAKE, don't listen to this him,” Scarlett begs, her voice laced with desperation, but Castor just rolls his eyes at her pleas. He fixes his steely gaze on me, and time slows down as he begins folding his sleeves up like a boss. After he's done, he cracks his knuckles, the sound echoing through the air like a challenge. “I dare you to repeat what you said, you punk,” he sneers.

Rikr

She was coming to Oban to kill, to destroy and to inflict as much pain as she could. “I love you,” Storm whispered as I kept my arms wrapped around her. “I love you too.” I kissed her and locked them all in the safe room. There was no need for Zetas to stand guard at the door. If I failed, nothing would be able to stop her from killing us all and I needed every Zeta with me on the field, killing ghouls. It was eerily quiet as we stood in front of the castle. The Zetas were all waiting at the back of the castle in the dense forest. Twenty Zetas stood in strategic positions with the flamethrowers and I kept their scents hidden.

Strip to Kill

Strip to Kill

Her gaze locked on the tattoo, and her face went deathly pale. “Looks familiar?” I asked, my voice low. She nodded desperately, over and over, then slowly looked up at me. Pure dread filled her eyes. “He’s not the same person,” she whispered, still staring at the photo. “He’s not?” I asked, confused. “Yes… He is Damien Vale but… a different Damien Vale.” Her voice shook violently. “And… it’s the same tattoo from the cartel clique I told you about. My mom’s Damien didn’t have that.”

The Crown That Fell

The Crown That Fell

"Remember seven years ago? I took a bullet for you, bleeding out on the floor, and you just picked up Lena's call and walked away." The painkiller was fading, and I pushed through the pain, stepping closer to him. "Then there's William. Halfway around the world, he called and walked me through removing the bullet without any pain meds." "Why are you bringing this up?" Nolan stepped back, his eyes betraying a hint of panic. I could not help but laugh. "Oh, no reason. Just thought you should know that the woman you see as disposable is someone else's treasured Principessa." With that, William's crew had the whole banquet hall on lockdown.

TAKEN BY THE DRAGON KING

TAKEN BY THE DRAGON KING

No one from the castle would have been able to see my pull up, not from here, not under the cover of the bushes and plants at the edges. That was just how I wanted it. It was just how I had planned it. This way, no one would even know I was back. No one would see the driver, and realize I was in the castle. It gave me the element of surprise and I knew that I would need. I moved through the undergrowth, silent and deadly. When I got into the castle, I was going to find both Ryder and Delan. I would kill them both and reclaim the throne. I just had to make sure no one else saw me first.

The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

He helped the prisoners over the obstacle and then continued down one side, tearing free gates as Gera unlocked the others. As Gera had said, at the top of the hallway, it met with another running left to right. “Release any you find down there,” Thaelen took the keys from Gera and handed them to another human. “Any that you leave behind will die tonight, as this castle will be burnt to the ground, so be merciful and be thorough.” “Understood,” the man’s eyes were grim, understanding that Thaelen was leaving him to dispatch quickly any that were not fit to escape, rather than leave them to a slow, torturous death of starvation, or death by fire should the flames penetrate so deeply.

This series is epic, a real nail biter! Yes, it is dark and touches on many uncomfortable issues, but there is redemption and forgiveness and healing. It shows that people can overcome their past and true change is possible with love and communication. I love the characters, especially the vampire.
Fox 2005
very dense story. highly recommended to start with book one, else you are missing too many information needed to understand the different timelines and points if view. yet these arches are more than necessary for the density. showing perspectives, helping the reader to understand the characters...

MAGE WARS: Sword of Solace

MAGE WARS: Sword of Solace

Most delegates fell victim to it. The army swarmed into the castle. Thomas Milner fought them off alongside Alexander Xermia and Sigrid Hermon. Julius Aldeim was up against Jrue Deryleen, but he was the first of the twelve family leaders to fall to Deryleen's blade. His arrows were no match for his tempo. He dodged them handily, at long last he ran a blade through his throat and off he went, off to the dead. Arthur Callusios was up against Tyndale. Brute strength against brute strength. He managed to land a hit on the tyrant, using all his martial arts skills to weave and bend himself to make the bump, but it had little to no effect. Tyndale grabbed his leg and snarled it like a twig. He fel

Her Deadly Revenge

Her Deadly Revenge

Immediately, she was back in action, climbing to her feet. "Ready?" Thomas grabbed Mrs. Cunningham's hair and pulled her head back. "Never been more ready!" Derek stepped forward and chopped into Mrs. Cunningham's throat with our best knife. He didn't stop chopping until her body separated entirely from her head. Mrs. Cunningham's body slumped to the floor, headless. Thomas dropped the head like it was the nastiest thing he'd ever touched. On any typical day, I would've thought it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever seen, but not today. I was thankful they'd killed her. Their eyes caught with mine, telling me they were no longer worried about Mrs. Cunningham.

I really got sucked into this book. It was very good. It has nothing to do with wolves, like the blurb above says. It's more like an end of the world type book. Wasn't something I normally read, but I'm glad I did.
Sabrina
The blurb and the title don’t match this book. The story is about a zombie apocalypse, a bunch of strangers that meet and their relationships that develop throughout. I thought the ending was good, but I would love to read a sequel for some much needed closure. Overall, it’s a really good book.

The Chosen Mate Of The Lycan King

The Chosen Mate Of The Lycan King

He roared. Kael stabbed his arm, stabbing Callum through his hand, both men groaned in pain. Torv swung, forcing Callum to dodge, his sword smashed against the wall leaving the room cloudy with cement dust. “You planned this, didn’t you?” Callum said, his scarred cheek pale, as he frowned. “Rogues don’t just storm my castle, you’re after something..” he whispered. Keira tried to run forward despite Annie holding her. “Your Grace, they’re not talking, they don’t understand us!” she shouted, her badge glinting, her face pale.
