Celestials Novels & Stories

“Are you really Knox’s mate, or are you just playing some kind of game?” Lydia blinked, stunned by the bluntness of the question. “Excuse me?” Ella tilted her head. “You heard her. It’s just a little hard to believe that Knox would have a mate. Especially someone like you.” “Well, do you expect him to be mateless? I can’t blame you, and if you think I’m some kind of ride-along, then I guess you’re wrong. We are a mate-blessed bond from the Moon Goddess. I’m sorry—there’s nothing you can do.” Lydia threw in the remark, which earned a scowl. She knew she’d hit the spot, but they were at a party, so obviously, they could do nothing.

PROLOGUE "I, Derek, the future Alpha of this pack, officially reject you, Heidi Artemis, as my destined mate and my future Luna. I sever the bond between us right now, and I banish you from ever seeking a place by my side." Derek nodded with glee as he straightened his posture. He grabbed the microphone tightly with his right hand and cleared his throat.

Ellie clutched a sodden map, her knuckles white. “Brazil. Scotland. Japan. Egypt. Rome,” she muttered, scanning Voss’s scribbled notes. “They’re waking up everywhere. All at once.” Dr. Voss tightened the ropes of the sail. Her face was pale but determined. “The Chimera was never singular. It was a herald. And heralds are never alone.” Cerebus stood at the bow, fur plastered by rain, three heads scanning the darkness. Alpha was still. Beta watched the horizon. Gamma growled at the storm.

Amara chuckled, “you are right alpha, there is no room for discussion. You will take me with you willingly or I will make you.” Azai’s eyes flashed black, “confident little wolf, aren’t you?” I struggled to regain control of Amara, but I couldn’t. In the reflection of Azai’s eyes, I could see my eyes glowing brighter, and a sudden warmth was creeping through my body. “I am the Celestite wolf, I answer to the Moon Goddess Selene, I am not bound to the orders of any alpha. You will take me with you to the capital.” “I will take you with me to the capital,” he repeated.

She gazes back again at the horizon, looking at the stunning view. Hughes went beside her and placed his hands on his hips. He sighed. “It’s a beautiful place, isn’t it?” “U-uhm, yes. It is.”, she replied meekly. “This place is called Kósmima. It’s a different world than the world we teleported in.”, he explained simply as he knew that if he told her everything, she wouldn’t be able to process it fully. “I…is this all a dream? Are you just a dream?”, she looked at him.

-FLASHBACK- "IN EVERY one hundred years, one infant will be born from a royal family and will be granted by the mysterios moon. Now, Leticia, are you still confuse seeing your child Helios, bearing an extraordinary strength and speed different from other vampire kids out there?" "Y-You mean, my son Helios was also granted?" "Yes. But, you should guide and always pay attention on him. I'm afraid that one day, he wouldn't be able to control his strenth-"

Chronos clarified, to Rogue’s question and looked at all the children he created from his right hand, he dismissed them from the meeting room leaving him and Rogue inside. Chronos looked at the stars and folded his hands behind his back, he could sense something was off with his child but he couldn't put his finger on what could be off. “Son, tell me have you ever heard of the celestials?” “No, I haven't, the library doesn't have that section in it.” “I see, the celestials are a group of powerful deities created by the living Metaphysical Essence in the beginning of everything. I'm one of them.”

He signaled the Green Bits on the wall. A ball of light burst from Rockflower, soaring higher and higher until it stopped several hundred meters. It grew bigger and bigger until it turned into a small moon. The blue and yellow skies started to shroud into darkness, rendering kilometers upon kilometers back into the night. This was Chief Bess’s doing since she was Artemis’s Brave, the goddess of the hunt and moon. “Now that night has come again,” Zeki said, “it’s time for me to go.” “Good luck, Zeki.” Alex patted his back. The rest bid their goodbye to the storyteller. He turned into a spider and spouted a parachute made of his own web.

That is why I immediately removed my hand from it. “Ahhh!!!” I heard a scream from below from the lost souls who are gently fading like my dad. Most of them burned and turned into orbs. Different kinds of orbs with different colors. I know in an instant that they will be stuck here on earth. As a ball of energy that can be consumed by humans. That can make the world imbalanced.

Amaris nodded confused by the Oracle’s cryptic words. “My time here is finally coming to an end. You will inherit all of your birthright. That is right Mari. Your mother was my great granddaughter.
