Abigail grew up without parents, and when she was in elementary school, she often got picked on by other kids. Melody and Felix knew all about this. Little Abigail was too small to fight back. When others hit her, she would say the same thing she was saying now: her grandmother would protect her. But some bullies would not back down just because of her words. When the mean kids heard she wanted to tell her grandmother, they would tease her even more. They would not even let her go home to complain.
