She did this. "What did you do?" I screamed at her. "This was your plan, wasn’t it? To steal him away?" But before I could get to her, Mason grabbed me and shoved me to the ground. He stood in front of her protectively. “Since you’ve chosen betrayal,” his voice rang out, cold and unforgiving, “I, Alpha Mason of the Blackwave Pack, reject you as my Luna.”

My hand moved involuntarily and I found them resting on Clara’s shoulder. “I know you’re doing everything,” I assured her, forcing a smile. The door of her new office barged open, Donna coming in, “Three new cases were confirmed, Luna.” Without saying a word, Clara and I dashed out. Two female and one male members were tied in a huge and thick rope , the warriors trying their best not to let go of it. “Bring them in for isolation immediately!” Clara shouted. They’re acting worse than a monster. It was as if they had lost themselves and had no control over themselves. There is no way in hell Mason will get past our guards and into the pack grounds. His threats do not rattle me in the least. “I don’t think you understand,” Mason smirks, but his eyes are cold and hard. “Either you take me with you quietly, or I’m telling anyone who wants to listen that their Luna is a hybrid.”

She looked at me for a while and turned back to Mason. “My Luna, I greet you. You never mentioned that she's a dragon, alpha.” My breath hitched and so did Alee's. Maybe in both our worlds, we were actually dreading what Mason's pack members would say if they eventually find out that Alee's not a werewolf. “Don't worry, Luna. I'm not biased. It would be a pleasure working with you.” “Dehila, we have to commence the ritual before it's midnight.” Mason said.

I wonder. “That does not give him right to look at my Luna.” He states in his lil Alpha voice. Everyone chuckles. I squat down to Mason’s level. “I should let you know she can’t be Luna, she is human therefore weak.” Eliza gasps. Mason straightens and grabs Ireland's hand again “There will be war if you talk bout my Luna again. She is the most beautiful in the world, she is strong and brave and I will save her from anything like she saved my mommy.” I look at Ireland questioningly at the last words. How could she save anyone?

“No idea what you’re thinking, but I won’t let you down.” I hold my hands to my heart and recite the first thing that comes to my mind. My voice booms and shakes the room. “Goddess Leticia of Mount Latmus, child of the Mavri Magea, Daughter of the Moon Goddess Selene and Endymion, as your sister, Leader, and your Luna, I, Kas Mason, summon you.
