A Broken Butterfly

A Broken Butterfly

---------------------------- Philippines Day and night, there's kids running the streets, or adults drinking with their friends. Despite what Filipinos call as 'Barangay tanod' roaming the streets, it looks difficult for them to control the constituents of their Barangay. Kids are erratic, they have issues with authority, and most of them no longer respects their adults.

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

It’s growing and it’s time to prepare. PHILIPPINES was a small island made of so many islands – and a great country. Filipinos were called to the people who lived there. Before, on this island lived the Indians, the Negros, and the Malays. Then, the Spanish came to conquer. Also, the Japanese became interested as the Americans did. Sometime in between, the Chinese had been recorded doing business with the locals. Filipinos were a tribe from different tribes. They were amazing people as well. Humans appreciated this county. Aside from the people, the island held strange magic. It possessed a paradise. The trees and rivers, the mountains and the skies agreed with everything.

Billionaire's Heartless Love

Billionaire's Heartless Love

I took him to the wash area where we could wash our hands carefully and he furrowed his eyebrows, “Why are we washing our hands?” “For sanitary purposes…and also so we could eat using only hands.” He nodded, “I see. Interesting.” We got back to our table. Looking at the food, I gulped, salivating at it. I licked my lips, instantly digging in the food and letting him eat too. We shared the meals with separate rice as the dishes were already good for three people. “The very first rule I want to share with to yowithwhen you eatFilip Filipino is to eat it with rice. Anything matches with rice.” I spoke up, as I put the menu on my rice, mixed it, and dumped it into my mouth using my fingers.

Flash Marriage: A Billionaire For A Rebound

Flash Marriage: A Billionaire For A Rebound

Wendell glared at his boss and announced, "I think - I think it's flattering how you are struggling to guess my race, Sir, especially considering how I have worked for you for the past, I don't know... four years?" "No, I am not Chinese, nor am I from Japan. And no, I'm not Latino either. Sir Andrew, I'm sure you know by now that I am not a hybrid. I am one hundred percent Filipino." Wendell announced. "And I eat chicken adobo rice a lot. It isn't just any chicken." "Sure, my last name suggests it may be Spanish, but that's only because Spain colonized our country for so long," he explained. "Just look at my nose - it's broad."

Pleasant
I love this book already. I kept smiling and laughing out loud. Andrew what a sweetie pie. Andrew is most certainly a gentleman and most certainly sincere for now. I will continue to read. This book is not like the others I’ve read in the last four weeks since I found out about the Good Novel....️...️...️

Enjoyed this book a lot! Andrew and Kenzie as a pair never fails to crack me up with their pick up lines and banter. Like your other books, this is equally hilarious, has a good amount of drama, and also some life lessons. A great read and a good start for the Wright kids and their stories!

Vermillion Haze (Red Riding Hood Series)

Vermillion Haze (Red Riding Hood Series)

"So you do admit that the village men do not like you because of this." "I'd rather use the word 'frightened' of me, it is not like they don't like me." "They don't like you," he teased. "But we Weres do." This Filip is a pathetic bastard who's desperate to find himself a slave who can carry his child. I am a very judgmental person, and I know that it isn't a really good trait. This man shows it all. His boldness and desperation. The eagerness for a mate. Imagine sending poor Mally to chase the little girl?

Blue Blood

Blue Blood

I felt intrigued by it and couldn't stop myself from reading more. I learned, that in times of calamities and catastrophes, Filipinos always manage to rise above the challenge. Instead of wallowing, they manage to pick themselves up and smile. Learned about how they take pride in their family. To Filipinos, their family come first. Whether you are part of the immediate family or you belong to the third or fourth generation, you are treated as a family member. Sometimes, even the closest of friends are considered family, too. As long as they've taken you as their own, they will go to lengths in protecting you.

Empress, your vest has fallen!

Empress, your vest has fallen!

He is the man who will defend his mother after his father. ... A/N: By the way, the Philippines' Park is entirely fictional. Perhaps there are other places that are nearly identical to that, but I have no idea where they are because I am always at home. *cries* When someone approaches me and attempts to chat to me, I don't panic; instead, I just try to go with the flow until I have a reason to leave. It's called courtesy (even if the other party doesn't appear to be trustworthy). End of Text.

Unforgiven Sins

Unforgiven Sins

I don't know how he knew this, but how, where, and whoever the reason he went to was right. He is coming down to open me, his act is really like gentelman. I don't know why he is like this despite the rejection I gave him. "Thank you, sir." I thanked him when I got out of his car. He supported me and we went inside. It is one building only but the equipment is a mixture of Spanish and Philippine culture, at first glance, you will love everything, but I was surprised because their best seller is Halo-halo, the best dessert of Filipinos. All equipment is made of marble. We went straight to the courtyard where there was no vacancy.

Eternal Love (English Version)

Eternal Love (English Version)

I will ask. "I first became friends with Heiley, she was still shy at that time because we are not normal, we are accepted by mortals in the Philippines but not everyone is like Leo's parents, we are free to roam around helping mortals as we are considered we are like them." as for her said, I can see that what she is telling me is true. I just nod to her and what she tells me. It's good in the Philippines that people like them accept, unlike here, the minds of others are not yet open to the fact that they are dealing with other creatures.

The Devilish Billionaire

The Devilish Billionaire

It wasn't just Sean who dazzled with good looks, but also Boss Luis! Yes, I am surrounded by attractive people. What exactly are their races? Are there any connections between the three clans that came to the Philippines, Aeta, Malay, and Indonesian? Then there were the periods when we were occupied by the Spanish, Japanese, and Americans. They are, without a doubt, the result of racial hybridization. How fortunate they are to have such attractive features. However, I am still a Lapu-Lapu racer at heart. A fighter! In any case, it appears that I am. However, the great Datu will most likely reject me at times due to my stupidity. Hehehe. Yes, I admit it, and I apologize. Nobody is perfect.
