First Class Male

First Class Male

Alex sat down at his desk, turned on the light, and began reading. Eight hours later, he finished the final chapter. Alex was no expert on romance novels, but Rachel’s writing could convince him to become an avid fan. She was good. Damn good, he thought, but an important element seemed to be lacking. Rachel’s descriptions and dialogue were colorful and dramatic, but, in Alex’s opinion, the leading male character was a bit bland, and he lacked any real emotional depth for a romantic hero. The main female character was a strong, independent and highly sensual woman, but there was no believable chemistry between the two of them. Alex could also tell by her description of the country setting tha

“They like happy endings—just like mystery book readers—but romance readers care more about the character than the plot. mystery and thrillers deal with how to solve the crime, the puzzle, and stop the bad guy. romance is usually about emotion — which I don't know how to write well — and the development of character, two people overcoming adversity and conquering love. HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

"Here, when she first realizes she's attracted to her love interest. You write, 'Sarah felt her heart race as David moved closer, his presence filling the space between them with electric tension.' It's technically competent, but it's also completely generic." Emma felt heat flood her cheeks. "Generic?" "It could describe any heroine in any romance novel ever written. There's nothing specific to who Sarah is as a character, nothing that reveals her particular way of experiencing desire." Jake's voice was matter-of-fact, as if he were discussing weather patterns rather than dismantling her professional identity. "It's passion by numbers." "Passion by numbers?" Emma's voice pitched higher desp

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

"Now go write your dark, possessive heroes. Make them hot and dangerous enough to earn that redemption arc." I laughed. "That's not how it works." "It's exactly how it works. Romance novel 101. A boy does bad things, the boy suffers, the boy grovels and the girl takes him back." She winked. "Easy." I watched her walk away, her bright hair bouncing, her laughter trailing behind her like confetti. The boy does bad things, suffers and grovels to the girl. Victor didn't strike me as the groveling type.

MY UNEXPECTED ROMANCE

MY UNEXPECTED ROMANCE

As Loki proudly said. "One won for 10 fights HAHA " Jen roasted "My future wife should be strong as the girl character here in Tekken" Jen sarcastically said "I know, I can be a strong woman.. I promise.." "Are you sure?" Jen asked while smiling "Of course! " Loki speak confidently "If one day, you are still weak then I'll leave you" "It's fine but least we ended up together . Although it's just a temporary and I was happy that I met you. I thought my dreams never came true" as Loki calmly said

Someone asked from the back of the room. “Well, first of all, in a romance novel, there isn’t a sex scene, it’s a love scene. And I like to go into a lot of detail, both physical and emotion wise, because I feel that the intensity of a love scene, it brings out exactly what the characters feel for each other, it shows the depth of their love, helps strengthen a relationship. Basically that’s what love scenes are for, to help the progression of the relationship between the lead characters,” I explained. Got some thoughtful looks and nods of acceptance in return. “Mrs. Akira Whitmore, do you feel that writing a story about oneself is better than writing about an imaginary character?” Another t

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

Workplace Romance

Workplace Romance

How I met him was quite a meet-cute, never have I been in a relationship this passionate. He was everything and supported me, he gave me all I ever asked for. Since I first met him at the club, where I turned from a waitress to a striper, he had always hovered around me. He made me felt special, I could see his love for me in his eyes. We never had any problems, just small irrelevant arguments. I have been dreaming about the day he would propose to me, to be sincere, I have never been this patient in my life.

He has heard of it, but never truly experienced it for himself. "Love is romance." he answered briefly, hoping that his answer would suffice. "And what is romance?" Asty continues to test him. "I've read it in novels. It is when a man or a woman starts to develop feelings for each other." "Romance coexists in love," Asty told her with her calm, dreamy eyes. "Love is compassion towards other people. It is a feeling that never goes away. If it goes away, then it is merely infatuation."

Abducting The Mafia Romance Author

5) Our female main character is definitely not a naive, foolish and impulsive lady instead she is strong, capable and a mastermind. 6) Similarly the male character is not a stupid character for being a protagonist, who will believe his ex rather the heroine (well, if there would be any ex, can't say for sure. Haha!) 7) Aysel Saat is a genius, creative and a daredevil woman. While Ekai Enzo is a doting lover, caring and protective man, who would do anything to make her happy. Well, remember protective man not obsessive. 8) There are a few elements I would like to disclose to you, as I love fusing different themes together thus this narration would not be a plain romance at all. Instead there

I leaned in a fraction of an inch, a teasing glint in my eyes, "I prefer classic literature. Russian realism, psychological thrillers. Dostoyevsky, Fitzgerald, Hemingway. I like substance." "Substance?!" Ruby mocked, completely offended. "Are you implying my romance novels don't have substance? Excuse you, but enemies-to-lovers tropes require intense psychological maneuvering! The angst! The tension! It's art, Alexander. Your little Russian thrillers have nothing on a slow-burn romance."
