She told me that it had been a while since her dragon was out. “I just worry. I haven’t shifted in so long.” I state. “Everything is going to be fine. My dragon is terribly excited to meet Gemma.” Dray says. “Oh shit, I just realized that I don’t know the names of your dragons.” I blurt out. “Grendel is my dragon's name,” Dray tells me. “My dragon’s name is Haldor,” Drake states.

From the How to Train Your Dragon series, where until this moment, King really liked the black dragon. “What's this?” “What are you looking at?” King asked mockingly. His full-face helmet was opened which made King's bushy hair a bit messy. The blowing night wind made the hair even messier. Even so, King was confident that his appearance could make some of the women and girls around them interested in just looking at him.

Those eyes burned like an unquenchable flame, testing her patience and scrutinizing her every move. Dragon sat beside his wife, Olivia, who exuded confidence and satisfaction as she spoke to him in a calm tone. His sleek black hair and sharp gaze made him resemble a meticulously crafted statue. Yet, what truly set Dragon apart was the commanding aura that surrounded him—a power that demanded either respect or fear. Jenny, on the other hand, wore a simple dress that highlighted her natural beauty, her wavy hair and green eyes giving her a captivating, understated charm.

“Master, what would you like us to do? You need only whisper your command, and we will follow.” Evrah grabbed the wood harder, her gaze darting quickly from left to right, trying to get a closer look. She spotted a big shimmering black dragon that seemed to be looking right at her. The big eye blinked, its big frame fidgeting a bit. A huge black and silver mass of scales and muscles sat directly across from her, its ginormous purple eyes had her dead to rites, and they both knew it. “Please don't give me way,” she whispered, shaking from fear. She cursed that her curiosity had gotten her noticed. The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisp

“You my little fire dragon, are once again very insightful.” She turns, smiling at me, pleased with my praise but obviously confused. “What did I do?” “Maybe Avani set up the war games wrong,” I say. I watch Keya whose eyes go wide. “We need teams.” “Teams?” Elio asks. “At least one person with each element. The dragons will never allow their riders to be on a team without them, so Elio and I would be on a team with, say, Ajax, who has the earth element, Kaylani with the water element, and well, I think air is mostly out. None of Cal and Eliane’s young are old enough to fight yet, leaving only Cal and Ishir to wield the air element.” Keya says.

Then suddenly, a blast of horn cut through the crowd, instantly silencing the noise. "All rise for His Supreme Majesty, King Xerxes and Her Majesty, Queen Valera!" Everyone immediately rose to their feet and bowed. I looked up, trying to catch a glimpse of the man who had sired the Commander. He looked nothing like Draven. They shared no resemblance whatsoever. King Xerxes was undeniably a good looking man, possessing the sharp bone structure common among high ranking dragons. Despite being centuries old, he still looked impossibly young like he was barely fifty.

“We’ll discuss that later. For now, tell me what you know of the dragon riders, the ones that come and…do what Bisset does. Inspect annexed cities.” “And terrorize the people?” His upper lip curled up in a scowl. “Even so. How many are they, and what do you remember of the ones you’ve seen? Or heard about?” His sneer melted away into confusion. “Ten or so, including the Emperor. Everyone knows that. There’s the dragon who breathes fire hot enough to turn sand to glass and the one-eyed rider who flies with it. There’s the dragon who has shield plates all over itself, natural protection of bone you can’t slice through.” He continued to name several more, until finally she held up a hand and st
