She was touching Megan’s face and then hugging her again as they both cried. “What happens now?” Rylee asked. “We’ve completed the bond and it’s been accepted.” “And something else,” Elder Michael said with a smile. “What?” Lucas asked impatiently. “Megan has a dragon,” I said and Rylee gasped as Lucas turned towards me. “A dragon? The creature was a dragon and Minerva was certain of it but it was slightly different from what she had heard. People say dragons are black and ugly but the one before her was nothing ugly. It makes me even more proud to know that I was not only worthy of being a dragon rider, but worthy of being a rider to a silver dragon.

'' both dragon and rider cocked their heads to face each other. ''Now, this is awkward, you should have a name'' ''You think?'' the dragon drawled sarcastically "Oh crap I don't know many dragon names'' ''It must not be a dragon name, but it should be a fun one, so don't call me Marienne or Belle or Lya, Blurrgh!'' the dragon shuddered and Zutara laughed heartily. "You are a girl dragon'' "Of course, I am a girl dragon would a boy dragon be this shiny and amazing''

The ice in my very veins melted as he grew even taller than he normally was and more muscular, ripping Zephyros's tunic in the process. I staggered backwards and tripped on a branch. I fell backwards on my rump and even the sting was not enough to take my eyes off him. He exhaled and the nearest tree turned to ash immediately. i scrambled backwards on impulse and the branch i had tripped on got caught in his web. He opened his eyes and twin pools of fire peered down at me. I didn't need Luna to tell me i was not looking at Zephyros anymore...no. Not entirely. What stared back at me was the Fire Dragon.

Linking my arm through Jade’s I began pulling her along to follow the boys. “Come on, try to get there before the sun starts coming up.” We met up with the guys, which Kellan had already shifted into a large green Dragon, but while he was magnificent, it wasn’t nearly as impressive as Cyran’s Dragon. Once we were all settled on Kellan’s Dragon, luggage and all, Kellan spread his gigantic wings and flapped them a few times before taking off into the night sky.
