He held my hand as I looked in his eyes. “I know… they eventually will, though I’ve tightened the security. We’ll know if they try to invade.” He sighed taking me away from Elinor’s room. We walked in the office where he sat me down. The reel whirred and I saw the familiar face. “The soul sorcerer has 5 tiers. Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, Hades.” Zeus began talking. “All are---” I managed to speak when Arthur intercepted.

He grinned at her in a way she could only describe as predatory. "Who are you?" Liv tried to stand, but was still unable to make it to her feet. Her head swam from the blow to her head. "Come now, beauty. Let me help you." The strange man lifted her by the armpits and walked her to a fur covered chair near a table. "I am Killian O'Mara of the Blackfoot Pack," he said with the slightest Irish lilt to his voice. He gave her a courtly little bow before sitting in the chair across the table from her.

' I went back to my room, my thoughts in chaos, and sat heavily on my bed. 'Kelly and Sexy Red are completely different people. Different personalities, different styles, different everything.' But even as I thought it, memories started surfacing. Little things I'd noticed but dismissed. Coincidences I'd ignored. The elbows. I'd noticed early on that Sexy Red had distinctive elbows—smooth, with a particular contour. I'd studied them because I'd been so obsessed with figuring out her identity. And Kelly had the same elbows. Identical. 'Lots of people might have similar elbows,' I told myself. 'That doesn't mean anything.'

“I’m going to change that. I’m going to take the throne and show this imposter you call your personal maiden that she is to bow to me and not you.” “Is this about dear old Samantha?” Ryu’s flame kindled, his sinister aura growing more and more per second. I could tell from his aura that he had a strong Ki, but I still couldn’t figure out if he was an elemental wolf or a sword bearer like me and Kyle. Ryu appeared before me in a flash, flames surrounding him as his claws emerged. I could feel the heat of each claw, hot enough to cleave diamond without a single trace of splitting. “Do you think I’d cower up?” Kyle growled.

“We were attacked and somehow you got separated from us. You were attacked by one of the Shtrigas and passed out, right when I found you. It will take some time for you to feel 100% again, so you will have to take it easy and rest.” I nodded my head and looked down at my folded hands. “What are Shtrigas?” “In layman terms, a soul eater. They feed on people's souls and if you are ever lucky to get away from one it takes a bit to recover.” “Are we in Daemonium?” I ask with some hesitancy and he nods. I look out through the balcony doors and see an orangish purplish sky behind some mountains. “How long have I been out for?”

“Nope. Not a single one.” He sighs dramatically, placing a reassuring hand back on my shoulder, and points them out one by one, giving a quick run-down. “Alright. That miserable-looking one there is Elder Corvin—the one who permanently looks like he swallowed a whole, unripe lemon. Next to him is the perpetually silent Elder Theon. Then that younger-looking one, with the sharp, hawk-like eyes, that’s Darius. The silver-haired woman beside him is Lyra, the brunette with the judging eyes is Selene, and the one with the dark hair and the consistently sharper tongue is Mira.”
