Did I Steal My Fiancé’s Ex Identity

Did I Steal My Fiancé’s Ex Identity

I could feel Charles watching me, waiting for a chance to talk. “Andre, you remember Clara,” Charles said, gesturing at the woman beside him. “My fiancée.” I took a sip of my wine. It was going to be a long night. “Congratulations.” She smiled politely. “I’ve heard a lot about what you're doing at DeLuca Entertainment,” she said. “I’m sure you have.” My father lifted his glass. “Charles finally decided to settle down. I suppose that makes him the responsible one.” The table laughed. I didn’t.

Chantelle

Chantelle

But then, he heard a voice from behind him. "Hi, can I help you?" the voice said. Delcan turned around, and there she was. Chantelle was standing there, looking at him with those piercing brown eyes. He couldn't speak, couldn't move. All he could do was stare at her, frozen in place. "Are you okay?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice. Finally, he found his voice. "I'm fine," he said, his heart racing. "Can I help you?" she asked again. Delcan took a deepbreath and tried to think of something to say. "I was wondering if you might want to go out for coffee with me sometime," he blurted out. Chantelle looked at him, her expression unreadable. Delcan held his breath, waiting for her respo

The Face of Revenge

The Face of Revenge

"Had to finalize the Q2 report." From the corner of the room, Charles Laurent, Vice Chairman of Laurent and Damon's father, stood with a glass of scotch in hand. His posture was relaxed, but his eyes were laser-sharp. Diana, his wife, sat just beside him, perched delicately on the edge of a velvet loveseat—elegant, watchful, quiet. Henri didn't bother with pleasantries. He tilted his chin. "Well? You didn't come here to talk numbers."

Mr. Dechart

Mr. Dechart

We needed answers. "That was Mr. Dechart and his men. He's a billionaire who is involved in criminal activities. I owe him $100,000 but I don't have the money." Questions came to me at once. Why was dad involved with this man? Who was he? Why was he doing this? "How did you get involved with him?" Hunter asked and we sat down in the chairs facing dad.

Return of the Abandoned Wife

Return of the Abandoned Wife

Daniel stepped inside, carrying a slim file. “You work fast,” Adrian said. Daniel placed the folder on the desk. “I started digging last night.” Adrian immediately opened it. “What did you find?” Daniel sat down across from him. “Elena Laurent spent the last three years overseas.” Adrian scanned the documents. “Where?” “Mostly in Europe,” Daniel replied. “Paris, Zurich, and London.” Adrian flipped through the pages. “Building Laurent Group.” “Exactly.” Adrian paused. “Any record of marriage?”

THE MARRIAGE HE BURNS: The divorce He Regret

THE MARRIAGE HE BURNS: The divorce He Regret

I sipped it slowly as I observed the crowd. “So you are the legendary Miss Marissa everyone is talking about.” I turned, with the glass of wine in my hand, to see a man standing there with a calculated, charming smile. “And who are you?” “Charles Carlton.” He stretched his hand forward. I put my hand in his, but he surprised me by kissing my knuckles instead of offering a handshake. Charles Carlton. Alaric’s rival. “What have you heard about me? I hope it was a good one.” “Good, actually. Not bad. And if melting the heart of the coldest bachelor is considered good?”

Alenna Delevigne

Alenna Delevigne

"Thank you for saving her." "I am Gabby Florence, a cultivator, and I just came from 3 years of training in Mt. Alebasi. My clan were physicians; it's my duty to treat any patient, regardless of their nature and status." "I'm sorry for my impudent actions awhile ago. Please let me treat you to dinner as my apology," I humbly offered. "That will do! By the way, how can I address you?" was his nice response. As expected, people from Mt. Albasi were really humble and kind. He lived up to their reputation.

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

"How did you do this?" He blinks, glancing at his own work like he's seeing it afresh. "Do what?" His voice is a baritone. I like it immediately. "I've never seen anyone use pastels like this," I reply, stepping closer. "The brush technique . . . what is that?" He wipes his hand on a cloth and extends it. "I'm Charles. Charles Ripping." "Dana," I say, and shake it. He's surprisingly easy to talk to. His baritone voice comes out of his chest slowly, picking his words.

Loathe by the Billionaire

Loathe by the Billionaire

“It was good seeing you again, Kayla. And congratulations again on the marriage.” Chelsea watched the woman approach with narrowed eyes. “Who’s that?” “Delilah Ross,” Charles answered smoothly. “My business partner. We’ve got a meeting to finish.” As Delilah reached the table, Charles turned slightly toward her. “Delilah, I was just introducing myself. This is Kayla Blackwood and her friends...” “Monet,” my friend supplied, giving Delilah an assessing look. Delilah offered us a polished smile. “Lovely to meet you both. Charles, we still need to finalize those projections for tomorrow.”

Alpha Alessandro

Alpha Alessandro

Valerie didn’t say a word, and Aurora frowned in confusion before my eyes met the D’Angelo’s. “One thing the two of us are going to be getting straight, Dante D’Angelo, and I do not intend to repeat myself twice about this.” I said, and the man raised an eyebrow. Dean, Arianna, Nicholas, and Eva stood close, and my eyes met the Russian’s who smirked, and I knew that it was because he appreciated the fact that I did not leave anyone to hurt Valerie. “And that is, Alessandro?” He asked, shaking his head.

Shirea Lemons
Alpha Alassandro is an amazing story. It's about an Alpha who is a werewolf, who meets his mate, but she isn't just anyone that he expects to have. Read this amazing love story to see who or what she is. You might really be surprised!!

Good book. Honestly the bonus chapter was not needed. It leaves the book open for a sequel when the characters are deceased. The explanation or backstory of the these characters is no longer relevant considering we already witnessed their demise. This should be edited and removed.
