Chasing His Wolfless Luna Back Novel Novels & Stories

The one place I felt safe after my harsh childhood was beside my mistress, the Luna. I was out in the woods tonight, not only to peek at her, but to enjoy a cold bath and the feel of the river under the moonlight. Of course, as usual, I'd hoped to be able to shift. I prayed tonight was the night when my wolf gained some confidence. After all, no other wolf was nearby. I knew that this wish could not come true. Faith was traumatized by my past and had chosen to hide away at the sound of other werewolves. The not-so-distant sound of howling guaranteed that I would not shift tonight.

The past week or so had been torture to her because I ran almost daily before my parents locked me down. I stepped out from the dense trees to find the most magnificent, and huge Lycan waiting for me. Blue-gray. An odd combination. One I have only seen once before. The Lycan of my dreams was standing in front of me. And I truly mean the Lycan of my dreams. Literally. Chase I waited for her to finish her shift as patiently as I could with Havoc chomping at the bit. He had been waiting for this. Slowly, a stunning gray wolf appeared, so light gray that she was almost white, the silver in her fur almost glowing, igniting her violet eyes.

When everyone saw her true form, they knew that there is no way Gina can be Luna now, not when her family has been hiding her wildness. Drew was bracing himself for Gina’s attack and everyone else except Roman and Coach Levis had run away, it was just them in an empty combat hall with a wolf with white fur, yellow streaks, and yellow eyes and it was no small wolf! Gina’s wolf was almost as tall as an average person. “Wow years of hiding her wildness has turned her into a giant” Coach Levis muttered as he too got ready to join the other hundreds of wolves he has already mind-linked with to protect Drew from Gina. But everyone was taken aback when Gina charged at someone else. “Elora!” Roman y

Elizabeth had never imagined that fate would seek her out in the darkness. A single unexpected meeting with a tall, mysterious stranger alters everything. He is far from an ordinary man — he is a wolf, and by the ancient laws of his kind, she is the mate destined for him. The wolves hold fast to the belief that Luna, the moon goddess, is incapable of error. When a human wanders into their world, it is no accident. It is fate. Now Elizabeth has been claimed — in body, in soul, and in future. His hands are coarse, his craving knows no bounds, and the bond that locks into place between them offers no possibility of escape. She was seized. She was branded. And somewhere under the terro

The simple act of him smoking was so alluring, seeming to exude a sort of sexy confidence that could not be ignored. Snow howled in agreement. She just liked to hit on anyone with a dick and muscles. I was an erotic mess and my wolf turned out to be one of the horniest creatures on the planet. When I had shifted under the full moon, rather than roaming around her pack and getting introduced to everyone, she started chasing a male wolf and lay in front of that wolf as if she wanted to get humped. It took a lot of restraint to return from the woods without getting pregnant by some random wolf who wasn’t even our mate.

I scream. An enormous wolf barrels toward the sealed nursery corridor with great leader scent. Strong and confident as he shifts mid-charge into human form, blade drawn. “You’re only the Luna,” he sneers. “Move.” Something inside me snaps completely. Only the Luna? Instantly, pain rips through my spine and my bones crack as the air freezes around us and gasps erupt behind me. My wolf surges forward without hesitation. Not fully as they expect but enough. Fur bursts along my arms and some sort of light floods my vision.

She had married into another pack in Southern California when she’d found her mate there. A boy had shifted too early, and he hadn’t been prepared for it. He was still a young teenager, though I was too young to remember his exact age now. He’d been aggressive in his wolf form, and my mother had kept me behind her for my safety, but I’d peeked around just enough to watch in fascination as that pack’s Luna worked with him. She coaxed him, spoke to him softly. He had the mind-link already, though, so it was a lot easier to communicate with him. The healer brought some herbs, and after that, things seemed to get easier.

The wind tore through my white fur, the scents of the hills—pine, damp earth, wild thyme—hitting my nose with the force of a tidal wave. I didn't care about the hitmen. I didn't care about Havenfall. I was adrenaline and teeth. Nathan ran beside me, his massive black form a dark streak against the green dales. He was holding back, pacing himself to my clumsy, over-excited lunges. My wolf—Luna—was ecstatic. As far as she was concerned, there was no past. Only the run. Only Nathan. But I hadn't forgotten. He could play house all he wanted, but he’d had his chance and he’d choked on it.

Everything else, the boy who chased pigeons, the man who wanted things he wasn't allowed to want, I'd folded away somewhere and told myself it didn't matter, that I'd lost track of him, that I had lost myself. Aria found him again before I did. I still wasn't sure how. Eli appeared in the doorway a minute later, hair sticking up on one side, holding a piece of paper like it was made of glass. "I finished it," he said. "Finished what?" "The wolf" He climbed onto the bed, careful not to jostle Aria, and held the drawing out for me to see, a rough, careful sketch of a wolf standing on a hill, done in the same colored pencils I'd bought him after our afternoon in the market.
