Like we were just two friends having fun instead of two women whose lives had been turned completely upside down. After we were done, we wrapped ourselves in the plushest towels I'd ever felt and moved to the closet. My jaw dropped when I opened the double doors. The closet was filled with outfits, designer pieces still bearing tags, arranged by colour and style like a boutique. It was as if my aunt had planned for this day, had somehow known exactly what sizes we'd need.

Two white chairs were positioned in front of it, inviting anyone to sit and take their time. Approaching the closet door, anticipation welled up within Catherine. She flung it open, revealing a spacious walk-in closet already filled with a dazzling array of clothes. Along the center of the closet, tall shoe racks stood in an orderly line, showcasing stilettos, flats, and sneakers in abundance. Hayden looked at her with a mix of hope and fear. "Don't you like it? I opened one door and it led me to the restroom. As expected, I saw a very long line of clothes, followed by a shoe line, a jewelry line, a large makeup set, bags, and even an underwear line, etc. They were all neatly arranged. Damn!
