I laughed despite myself. “Thanks, Bennett.”
He walked into the room, his eyes glinting with mischief. “Seriously, Evelyn, just breathe. You’ve already won by getting this far. Now it’s just about showing them what you’re made of. Oh, and don’t forget to smile, it's your secret weapon.”
