Mazelina: The Legend of The White Wolf
I smirk, using Amelda’s words.
She roars in frustration and sprints towards me at full force, her sword in her hand. I drop the dagger because I know now that I don’t need a weapon. It’s me, not a wolf legend, although that’s how it seemed to have started, and I guess that’s what I am, but I am not just a wolf; I am all animals. I am a Chimera. I hold all the animal’s lifeblood inside me and, therefore, can shape-shift into any animal.
At will, I shift into a dragon and let out a piercing cry as the other dragons fly protectively around me. I open my mind to everyone in the clearing, so they all hear me at once.
