Chloe’s POV “Kiss! Kiss!” My gaze swept across the crowd to see Trevor and Rachel standing close, surrounded by people cheering them on. A pang of discomfort hit me, but I tried not to dwell on it. They were just playing along with the clients—it wasn’t like they had a choice. “Chloe, what are you looking at?” Luna’s voice interrupted my thoughts. “Oh, nothing.” She followed my line of sight and immediately understood everything. “Tonight’s about us, remember? Let’s not think about anything stressful!”

Lia looked at the pompous lady in front of her, "As much as I would like to indulge you, I know for a fact that you aren't worth my time nor energy, so please stay the hell away from me so that i don't pounce on you!" Chloe took that time to recover and immediately move out of the way hoping that everyone saw Mendy try to kill her. She smiled at her goal being accomplished. I didn’t care anymore and I’m sure a stranger to her wouldn’t care either. “Hi, I’m Maxwell.” He broke the silence, stretching his hands to shake hands with Chloe. She looks at him and then at me. Leaves his hands hanging in the air as she held on tight to her phone and thankfully Max takes it back with a smile, looking not so offended. “I’m Chloe, her sister in law.” She more than shocks me with her words. Unless you are a fan of indulging yourself in a harem.” Maxine’s fingers flinched on the cutlery. First, she noticed that this guy doesn’t know that she’s aware about Chandler, Adam and Brett’s identities as werewolves.
