“NO SYSTEM = CHAOS,” it raved. “REGRET WILL HAVE NOWHERE TO GO. UNPROCESSED EMOTION WILL FLOOD SOURCE REALMS. YOU WILL DESTROY—”
“Destroy your monopoly,” I gasped, tasting copper. “Not… feeling.”
Shelves closest to us tore themselves free of the floor entirely, launching like spears toward the hanging letters of my directive, trying to physically knock them out of the air.
