As Xavier Grayson walked through the door, Chloe Bishop didn't wait for him to speak. She stood up and approached him, her voice softer than usual. "Have you eaten? I have some of those shrimp wontons left over from this morning." Xavier nodded, his gaze lingering on her for a beat. "Boil a bowl for me." Like clockwork, Chloe served the steaming meal just as Xavier emerged from the shower, wrapped in a dark silk robe. "This tastes like real crab. So rich and delicious." Xander raised an eyebrow. "There's such a thing as fake crab in chowder?" Abigail explained, "A lot of places use imitation crab. It doesn't have the same taste as the real deal, but it's less expensive."

He noted, a furrow between his brows. "Uh... that's correct, sir. I had to go elsewhere to get that for you," Mallory answered. "And why is that?" Mallory stuttered a little. "I um... I actually wanted a place I could get cham chowder. Since the canteen doesn't have it, I decided to look elsewhere." Wilder scoffed and locked his gaze on Mallory. His face held so much worry and confusion. "I don't think I can get you, Miss Harrington. You went all the way to a place you could get cham chowder for me? How did you know cham chowder was my favorite?"

A moment later, a steaming bowl was placed in front of Jayson. He took a glance. His face remained unreadable, but he put on a faint smile. "Grandma, I'm perfectly fine. I don't need this." Ariel finally looked over. She froze when she saw what was inside. It was oyster chowder, a well-known tonic for enhancing stamina and virility. Betty smiled. "Being healthier never hurts. I had it simmering for three hours. Nothing wrong with adding a little extra spark to a marriage." Renee, too young to understand, glanced at the soup and quickly went back to her food.
