I sat up on my bed. Of course I had to come. She deserved that. Me: I’ll be there. I promise. Then reality hit. What would I wear? What kind of gift was good enough for someone like Mrs Keller? I was standing in front of my wardrobe, pulling out clothes, pushing them back in, muttering to myself, when a familiar voice came from behind me in the hallway.

“Can you just give them both pretty dresses or something? So they can both be Cinderella and stop trying to kiss me?” My eyebrows shot up to my hairline at that request. “And why are they both trying to kiss you again?” “Yeas,” Cindy looked thoughtful for a second. “Cinderella doesn’t kiss her Prince Charming until the very end of the story.” “No…they want to kiss me to make sure one of them is my Cinderella.” The poor boy seemed visibly shaken at the idea. “They keep saying they’ll know once they kiss me.” “Is that so?” This time, the voice came from right beside me and there was no mistaking who it belonged to.

Lily narrowed her eyes at the lucky girl, even though she did not interact much with the ladies in this city, she remembered that she had never met her at the parties she went. Lily has a great memory, so there's no way she hasn't met her if she's from the upper crust. Lily examined her intently. A sigh breathed out of his lips as he gave up on the idea of running away from Ryder.
